My boyfriend had been asking me to try the YOR Health products for over a year, however I was always reluctant given my intolerance to natural food chemicals. I was afraid that because most of the products are high in these natural compounds, my body would react badly and I would be worse off.
Despite eating healthy whole foods and exercising regularly, I was always tired and lethargic and never able to achieve a lean and toned figure. Mid-way through 2014 my dietician diagnosed me with a fairly high intolerance of salicylates, amines and glutamates. Prior to this I followed a very restrictive diet in terms of calories and carbs. Through reading copious amounts of literature, I started to suspect that I had done some pretty significant damage to my gastro-intestinal and endocrine systems.
In order to begin my road to recovery and repair the damaged I had caused my body, I agreed to give the YOR Best Body 8-Week Challenge a go. I had nothing to lose!
I began each morning with a YOR Probiotic Ultra followed by a smoothie containing the YOR SuperGreens 30-60mins later. I had a YOR Berry Blast before each workout and consumed a YOR Digest Ultra with my last meal of the day. In the first three weeks I had another YOR Probiotic Ultra at the end of the day to maximize efforts to repair my gut.
In addition to the supplements I have become an avid user of essentials oils. For example, the quality of my sleep has improved dramatically by diffusing sweet dreams every night, and I have found inhaling boost throughout the day has helped my to feel far less tired and focused.
My workout regimen consisted of 3-4 days of heavy weight training. Prior to this Challenge I had lost motivation in weight training because I had very little energy. After the first week of the Challenge I found myself looking forward to every workout, excited to see how far I could push my body. I think this was a result of both looking forward to the delicious taste of the YOR Berry Blast as well as the effects it had on my energy levels and stamina!
During the Challenge my goal shifted from being focused on weight loss. From week 2 onwards I stopped weighing myself. Achieving personal bests was far more satisfying than gawking at the scales! In saying that I started the challenge at 63kg and ended it at 60.5kg, which I guess turned out to be a double win!!
For the first time in 3-4 years I have the energy I need to lead the active life I have always envisioned, I am eating a large variety of foods that I feared I would never be able to enjoy again, and I have become a much kinder person towards myself. Although I still have some symptoms that I have to deal with regularly, my quality of life has definitely improved and I will be forever thankful to YOR Health for this.

The above individual’s results may not be typical. When replacing 2 out of 5 mini-meals per day with a meal replacement shake, the average person should expect to lose 1-2 pounds per week. As with any reduced-calorie diet, the amount of weight you'll lose will depend on the number of calories you consume in proportion to your weight. Optimal results are achieved when following the product regimen in combination with a healthy diet and exercise program.
Individual results may vary. Factors that may affect your results include (but are not limited to) your metabolism, exercise routine, diet, smoking, pregnancy, current medications and any medical conditions. As with any health or fitness program, regular exercise and a sensible eating plan are essential to achieve long-term weight loss results. No customer was paid for a testimonial.
