Hello everyone, my name is Mike Staunton and this was my first 8-week challenge. I started with YOR products at the beginning of the year (very hesitantly) and to be honest, I was just going to use the products so I could prove they didn't work for me! Well I got proved wrong very quickly and got amazing results from just using the products in the month of January.
There were so many things I didn't know and that I wasn't educated on about nutrition, especially from growing up in the southern United States. My favourite food was fried chicken from Bojangles! I literally ate this every day for lunch my senior year of high school!
I kept going through my 20s doing these things and not really paying attention to much, until my shorts started to get a little tighter around the waist. I would like to thank my sister for pointing a few things out, such as each of us teasing each other for getting old and fat. We just assumed this happens over time but boy were we wrong:)
After starting with YOR products, I didn't know what it was like to feel good. I'm very happy I chose to get started and I do plan to use these products for the rest of my life! I love waking up with my shake every morning. I also lost even more weigh during this time. I thought I looked good before and was happy about my size but lost another 10lbs and dropped about 1% body fat. I didn't measure but I feel as if I put in some muscle mass as well.
My routine consists of waking up and having a probiotics and repair ultra, then I'll read, meditate or yoga/stretch, then I'll have my YOR vanilla shake, supergreens, and fiber mixed together (sometimes I will include a berry blast to the mix but I have natural energy so this doesn't happen often), then throughout the day I'll have YOR digestive and multivitamin with lunch and dinner, and I'll end my day with another ultra. I usually work out after work, so right before dinner, and when I do a big workout I'll come home and have another vanilla shake with the supergreens.
Since getting started with YOR I quickly became a IR, this was because I just knew I was going to tell everyone I knew about it and thought why not get paid. That journey started slow as I was only introducing the products to friends and not running classes or getting other people signed up in the business. A few months into the year I moved from Australia to a small town in the US for a job opportunity, and so far it has been so much more than that! I have now got my first IR and we run classes together, it's been simply amazing. This leads me into why I decided to take the 8-week challenge. I was doing it for motivation for my new IR, a little for myself, but mostly her. Over the 8-weeks we got to know each other but I really got to know more about myself! I started creating new habits such as going to the gym 4-5 times a week. It felt amazing. I also injured (really woke up) my lower back pain and this was because I sit most of the day at work. I learned to go to the chiropractor and get it checked out. I honestly would not have went if I weren't trying go stick to this challenge. I know this because I have been having back pain for 15 years now. I learned A LOT by going in and getting realigned(highly recommended even if you feel great)!! Overall I want to say that this 8-week challenge not only changed my health but it changed my habits! I firmly believe every thing is as it should be and I want to encourage people reading this that its more than health during these 8 weeks, it's about changing your life!
