I had already been using the YOR Health products for 2 years before starting the Go Green Cleanse. I had been having small weight losses but felt i had plateaued. After hearing about the Go Green Cleanse and doing some research myself, i thought why not i've got nothing to loose, only kilos.
My starting weight was 70kgs and my goal was to drop 5kgs to get me back to my pre baby body weight of 65kgs. Well i did it!
Initially i thought how am i going to last until lunch time before eating a meal. I have always been someone who wakes up hungry! But with a green, fibre and berry blast shake first thing in the morning and increasing my water intake i got use to it. I also take the digest ultra, probiotic and multi vitamin throughout the day. Meal prepping has been my key as with 3 young children, a husband who works away and my own business eating a healthy lunch was never easy, but now with a bit of planning ahead i quickly heat up a healthy lunch. When sickness enters the household i will also have a second greens throughout the day to help ward off any illnesses.
The eight weeks hasn't been without it's ups and downs, i've had minor surgery which included a change in diet for 3 days prior, eating a no fiber diet, a two week beach holiday were i didn't get the chance to meal prep and i also indulged in an ice cream a day (my biggest weakness) and i still managed to loose weight.
I train twice a week and my personal trainer has also noticed that my stamina has increased as well as my strength.
I'm so thankful for taking the time to listen and to educate myself on what our bodies need and that i have stuck out a challenge and seen great results. Even if i don't win the challenge in my mind i'm already winner with extra energy and happily sitting at my goal!
