I have been on the Yor Health products for 2 years now but I became slack with exercise & giving my body proper nutrition. Whenever I was stressed or emotional, I would turn to food for comfort. I've always had an unhealthy relationship with food & I wanted to change that!
Before beginning the 8 week challenge i had just come back from the annual event in america. I wanted to indulge myself with every american food possible & loved every minute of it. But when i looked back at all of our photos I was disgusted at the person that was in them. I knew I put on some weight but didn't realise how much & how obvious it was. I couldn't believe i let myself get to this point & began to see stretch marks on my body. Friends & family also made comments like "I barely recognise you."
I was shocked when I weighed myself, the scales read 83.4kilos, the heaviest I had ever been, I wanted a change!
The Go Green Intermittent Fasting Guide launched in Australia & people were getting incredible results! I knew using that along with the 8 week challenge I could get to my dream body !
The first week was the hardest. Getting back into the gym, along with feeling my body detox from all of the terrible food. I pushed through it & in my first week I lost 2 kilos & could see my stomach starting to slim down! I was so motivated to keep going! I trained 5 days a week & most of the time with friends which made it fun!
When I wake up I start with berry blast, super greens, fibre & 1 drop of lemon oil. With meals I have 1 digest & before bed a repair & probiotics.
I can't choose a product that is my favourite, they are all incredible & I can't imagine living without them now!
Some weeks I trained only 3 times because of big days at work.
Every day I have stayed consistent with the fasting because I wanted to keep my body in a fat burning zone & I felt other benefits from the IF guide like an increase in energy, amazing sleep, woke up feeling rested & appetite decreased.
My training mostly consisted of boxing, high intensity cardio, light weight machines & some fun activities with friends including paddle boarding & hiking kangaroo point. My partner patrick & his brother are also on a challenge so it was good having their support & we kept each other accountable. Along with the rest of our yor health promotors were incredibly supportive as well.
8 weeks later & I weighed in at 74.8kilos!
My goal was 75 kilos & reached that!
My total loss was 8.6 kilos in 8 weeks!
My stomach has slimmed down a lot. I have lost a lot of fat from around my face & neck as well as from my back & inner thighs.
I've had to buy a new work uniform because it was falling down. Which was an amazing feeling!
I am so incredibly proud of myself & feel so much happier with the way i look. My clothes fit better, people at work have complimented me on my weight loss, i have more energy, i am more conscious about the food I put in my body & training has become less of a chore & more of a hobby.
I've come so far but still have a long journey to my goal body, I'll be completing another 8 week challenge to get myself to a healthy 65kilos.
I couldn't have come this far without the Yor Health products, the 8 week challenge & the constant support that the company gives.
