This challenge was a tough one for me. Two weeks into the challenge I suffered a lower back injury playing basketball that sidelined me from working out for about 3-4 weeks. Basically I strained my iliopsoas muscle. It's the muscle that attaches to your lower spine and wraps around your hip and attaches to your upper leg to form your hip flexor. Enough with the biology lesson...lol

Luckily for me I had a huge stock of YOR Health products on hand. Even though I wasn't able to work out (sculpt) as much as I would have liked during this challenge, I was still able to lose a few more pounds and reduce my body fat percentage.

After 3 days of basically laying in the bed (actually the floor) and "loading up" on Repair Ultra and rubbing bare essential oils (basil, marjoram, pink grapefruit, cypress, lavender, and peppermint) on the hip area I was able to reduce the pain in my lower back caused by the strain. That allowed me to get back on my feet and stabilize my balance to begin walking again. We take walking for granted until we can't!

During my hiatus from physical activity I increased my protein intake with the Great•ful Protein (3 scoops) and YOR Shake - Chocolate (1 scoop) with a tbsp of peanut butter mixed twice a day. On top of that I used the Super Slim in the morning and afternoon to help me stay away from the Halloween sweet treats! Add in the Digest Ultra & Essential Multi-Vitamins taken with my whole food meals, SuperGreens + YOR Fiber Plus as a morning snack, and Probiotic Ultra I was able to drop a few pounds and lower my body fat percentage. So in the end even though I wasn't able to put 100% effort in the gym and sculpt more, I was still able to meet my goals.
