This challenge for me has been really, really difficult. I have had to overcome a number of obstacles including work fatigue, work issues, 24hour roster work, personal injury, family passings, moving house twice, minor car accident, a lot of on road travelling so a lot of junk food eating to stay awake and alert and the hits just kept on rolling.
However, doing this challenge has showed me that I do have motivation and drive and I can do something for me, no matter what those around me say. I have learnt during this 8week challenge, that I can help others and motivate them as well as myself to commit to making healthier lifestyle choices and increasing my self-confidence and self-worth as well as others.
One of my main goals for doing this 8week challenge was to win because I never win anything and over the past 12months I have had the worst luck anyone could have (in my opinion). I felt like I couldn't do anything right, my looks (weight) made people not want to know me or hang out with me. I thought if some great miracle could happen so that I could win, it would be like getting some kind of 'get out of jail free' card for me... something that would help me to feel better about myself, a reason to continue my existence but I now know that... as cliche as this sounds... I am already a winner. I have made better lifestyle choices and my body reflects that in a positive light which than helps to grow my self confidence and self worth.
Within the last 14months I have started the 8week challenge 4-6 times, only to never finish or simply not submit my results. After a week or two or 4-5weeks in, something would happen in my life and I would just throw my arms up in the air and basically give up. I would get down and out and stop taking my YORHealth supplements, start binge eating and all my hard work would be for nothing. OR... I would get to the end of the 8weeks and not have reached my goal so I didn't bother submitting my results as I thought 2 or 3kgs wasn't worth the embarrassment of people seeing my photos and how fat and ugly I am.
This time, I said I was going to finish rain, hail or shine and no matter what I thought others would perceive/see me as due to not having a drastic change in my appearance I was going to submit something! In saying this, this time around has not been all roses either. I have had my ups and downs and my weight has been like a yo-yo but I FINALLY finished! Not with the result I wanted but submitting my end result has given me the satisfaction and motivation to continue my YORHealth journey and I will be committing to another 8week challenge. The next time around, I will be at my goal weight or size!! This is my PROMISE, my commitment in black and white to me and my word to you, I am going to see it through and reach my goal of losing weight, gaining lean muscle and getting back into a boxing ring.
Thank-you YORHealth for helping me believe in me and taking that next step to reach my goals

Please be advised that the testimonials contained on this website and any other publication or printed materials reflect only the experiences of the customer who has provided the testimonial. The above individual’s results may not be typical. As of October 2025, those who completed 8 weeks in the weight loss category of YOR Best Body lost an average of 13.86 lb (6.29 kg), or 1.73 lb (0.78 kg) per week. When replacing 2 out of 5 mini-meals per day with a meal replacement shake, the average person should expect to lose 1-2 pounds per week. As with any reduced-calorie diet, the amount of weight you'll lose will depend on the number of calories you consume in proportion to your weight. Optimal results are achieved when following the product regimen in combination with a healthy diet and exercise program.

Individual results may vary. Factors that may affect your results include (but are not limited to) your metabolism, exercise routine, diet, smoking, pregnancy, current medications and any medical conditions. As with any health or fitness program, regular exercise and a sensible eating plan are essential to achieve long-term weight loss results. No customer was paid for a testimonial.
