The last 8 weeks have been an incredible journey with the Best Body Challenge and the YOR Health Intermittent Fasting Go Green Cleanse.
The cleanse is now a lifestyle for me, a daily ritual that has become habit. From day 1 I have fasted from 6pm to 12pm (the next day) and I start every day with a drop of Bare Oils Lemon in water, Yor Super Greens, Yor Fiber Plus and the Probiotic. At 12 noon, when breaking my fast, I would have my digestive enzyme, and again with dinner. At night I have a drop of the Peppermint oil in a glass of water to soothe my stomach overnight, and I also use the fractioned coconut oil with the peppermint oil to rub over my body before sleep.
I have not cut out any food group, nor have SPECIFICALLY cut out sugar or fat. I just eat in moderation and have noticed over time that my appetite has decreased and I generally eat less than I used to before the cleanse. I still eat pasta, bread, etc. Over time I have also become more conscious of my eating and feel I make more mindful choices - but not always! I absolutely do not feel like I am on a diet of any kind.
In the 8 weeks of the challenge, I have only exercised about 4 weeks. I just started Brazilian Jujitsu about a month ago, but I have noticed that the benefits of the cleanse outweigh any exercise I do. I was dropping kilos and size without exercising. This just goes to show the effectiveness of the cleanse and intermittent fasting, without the factors of diet and exercise.
Since commencing, I have managed to drop a total of 2.5kg, which I am so thrilled about given that I have not restricted any food and have done very little exercise. I have also lost:
5cm from my waist
9cm from my hips
9cm from my chest
2cm from my arms
And I am also down a dress size!
This is a big DEAL for me, as I have been trying to lose weight for almost two years now. Three years ago I entered a Bikini Body Building Competition with a highly constricted diet and exercise program. After the competition, I unfortunately gained 25kg in the space of 12 months, and it has been a long and painful journey trying to return to my pre-competition body weight and mindset.
I finally feel like I am getting the results I want., and getting closer and closer to my goal weight. I feel clearer, lighter and generally healthier. This cleanse really works for me and my lifestyle, and easily fits into anything I do. I love fasting, and I love the energy and focus it brings me.
I also have started taking the Repair supplement, the Super Slim, and Multivitamin. I also do the Bare Oils Boost body rub before a workout and the oil pulling before bed when I remember.
For me, this is only the start of the journey, and I am looking forward to continuing the weight loss, Intermittent Fasting, and healthy lifestyle I have started. I can’t wait to share my progress in another 8 week’s time! Watch this space!
