Hi! My name is Tina Tern. I am 37 years old. My weight loss story has been a roller coaster of ups and downs. I've struggled to lose weight because I could never find the motivation to help me to reach my goals. Recently, I was able to find my drive to help me achieve my ultimate weight. I believe my struggles with my thyroid disorder and my pursuit for a healthier lifestyle has help motivate me to lose weight; however, the main reason why I want to lose weight is because it is helping me overcome the obstacles I am facing in my life. Working out and losing weight has been a therapeutic way for me to cope with my unhealthy environment and it has been a "safe escape" for me physically, mentally, and emotionally. Not only has my pursuit for a better healthier lifestyle benefited me, but it has also helped better my family as a whole. I started out this weight loss journey with 188lbs and now weighing 168lbs. This may be the end of my 8 weeks program, but it won't be the end of my weight loss journey.
