This is the first time I've ever done a challenge during the holiday season. Normally we just forget about our health and go with the flow. Well not this time. I originally wanted to lean out, but I noticed I was gaining weight about 3 weeks into the challenge. At first I was concerned but then realized my body fat % had dropped a few points. So I continued with my workouts and eating regimen. I was putting on muscle in he right place, my back, shoulders, and chest. I knew this because my Live Bare sweat jacket was fitting more tight in my upper body.

The reason this challenge and my health are so important for me is that my family has a history of getting diabetes later in life. At 42, this is a crucial time in my life to make sure I continue to more more towards the healthy spectrum than the unhealthy. Keeping my waistline in check is of the utmost importance. And that's exactly what I'm doing. At least that's what my belt is saying because I'm on the last whole. So my waist is thinner than it has been. So I'm okay with the 4lbs weight gain.

I know for sure without taking the Essential Multi-Vitamins and the Digestive Ultra, sometimes 2 with heavier meals my waistline would have suffered this holiday season.
