I have always been a "fit" person, never having to be very intentional with my exercise habits or diet even. Any given year I could probably have said of myself, "I am in the best shape of my life." Well... That is before 2012.

In 2012 I found a workout buddy and pushed through 2 cycles of P90X and another cycle of P90X2 with maybe 2-4 weeks rest between each cycle. That year I hit a peak of like 135 pounds, my best cardio and most sculpted physique of my life.

Since then I have really struggled off and on to do anything of that level. Even just a single cycle of P90X is hard to get through on my own... This year I want it to be different, this year I wanted to push for the "best shape of my life" again, this year I was ready to get help.

What kind of help? Well YOR kind of help. This 8-week Best Body challenge has been a sidekick to help pull me out of a slump and take the baby steps towards the better me I want to be.

For these last 8 weeks I didn't quite reach the goal weight that I set, but I did FAR more intentional exercising than I have in a long time. And that in and of itself has been a big success for me!

If I looked back at my journal I would guess I've engaged in an intentional workout at least 5 times a week on average. In addition to the workouts I added a nutritional supplement drink of SuperGreens every day (I'd say with 99% consistency).

This drink has become one of my favorite reasons to get up in the morning, seriously. The vitamins and minerals from the fruit and vegetable blend really help me feel better and more alert throughout my morning and entire day.

I would also give SuperGreens credit for helping me stave off any form of cold or flu illness in the past 2 months. There was plenty of that going around my community and workplace and I haven't been sick a day!

I tried to add onto to the exercise and SuperGreens by implementing some YOR shakes into my diet, whether as a meal replacement, or meal supplement.

By the close of this cycle I would say on average I've been able to have one about twice a week, though I'd like to be having one every day I workout if I can manage.

The Best Body challenge has been just that, a challenge. And though I wish I was farther along, I don't feel let down or discouraged because this experience has been the inspirational stepping stone that I needed most!

This Challenge has "dared" me to "get back on the horse" of physical exercise and diet and take care of my body again. As far as I am concerned I have already won though, because I'm a healthier person than I was 8 weeks ago. And I'm not gonna stop.

As soon as this cycle ends, I'll be starting the next rotation, and pushing again for more intentional, more vigorous workouts than I've done to this point. As well as working to improve my diet and sleep patterns.

So all being said and done, I appreciate YOR Health for being an inspiration to a better me, and I look forward to seeing just how far I can go with the YOR Health community.

The above individual’s results may not be typical. As of October 2025, those who completed 8 weeks in the weight loss category of YOR Best Body lost an average of 13.86 lb (6.29 kg), or 1.73 lb (0.78 kg) per week. When replacing 2 out of 5 mini-meals per day with a meal replacement shake, the average person should expect to lose 1-2 pounds per week. As with any reduced-calorie diet, the amount of weight you'll lose will depend on the number of calories you consume in proportion to your weight. Optimal results are achieved when following the product regimen in combination with a healthy diet and exercise program.

Individual results may vary. Factors that may affect your results include (but are not limited to) your metabolism, exercise routine, diet, smoking, pregnancy, current medications and any medical conditions. As with any health or fitness program, regular exercise and a sensible eating plan are essential to achieve long-term weight loss results. No customer was paid for a testimonial.
