Last October I completely tore my Anterior Cruciate Ligament skiing causing my knee to continually give way on me. The orthopaedic surgeon told me i would need to undergo surgery to fix it if i ever wanted to live an active lifestyle or ski again. I was devastated to hear this. I was in pain, unable to exercise and then noticed the weight starting to creep back on. I knew this would only make my knee problems worse so I joined the 8 week challenge.

I was really interested to try out how the AU intermittent fasting program teamed with the products could help me.

To make it as simple as possible i just mixed the supergreens, fibre and berry blast all together for my mid morning snack about 10am then in the afternoon i would use the vegan protein with coconut milk, fibre and banana and that would keep me full until dinner where the accountability of the challenge would help me choose a better balanced dinner. I would never forget to have my digestive enzymes with every cooked meal.

The biggest thing i noticed about this 8 week challenge is that i could FEEL the difference; Not so much in the tightness of my clothes but with this feeling of vitality through my body. I started noticing that with the proper nutrition my knee hadn't given way in over 2 weeks. I become more confident and ventured out with my shaker full of supplements to give some softer forms of exercise a go. I started with pre rehabilitation and some yoga, and have now progressed to joining in at bootcamps for most exercises and some light weight training.


Through my gradual transition in the 8 week challenge and the push its given me to get back into exercise i am so impressed with the strength i have been able to build up in my knee.

My knee has not given way on me since i started my challenge so i have decided to NOT get the surgery. I am completely amazed at what the right push and the right products can do.
