This is the first time I have started and finished an 8 week challenge. I started this challenge while I still had a back injury (which is now fixed) and 4 weeks into the challenge during training I suffered from a stress fracture in my foot. (The doctor said no training for a month)

I am currently studying Kung Fu and Tai Chi in China, so not training has not been on the cards for me. I am very grateful to be here through my injuries as it has pushed me to work on the side with what I can. I just kept focused on my goals.

My top 3 goals for this challenge were:
1. Core strength
2. Upper body strength
3. Flexibility

The trainers and students here have helped me stay motivated throughout the challenge. They helped me with power stretches, and push-ups, and on the last day of the challenge I managed to do the splits!!

The main supplements I was taking for this challenge were the YOR Supergreens and the YOR Vanilla Shake. I found the Supergreens gave me the energy I needed to get myself through my training sessions. I would take a scoop at 5:30am every morning before starting training at 6am, and another scoop around 2:30pm to get me through the afternoon.

The biggest struggle during the challenge has been the food. I have had limited food choice where I am but the nutrients in the Supergreens and the Shake made such a difference to my training on a day to day basis.

I feel this challenge was a warmup and unfortunate with my injuries, I did joke that it is amazing how 'life' can get in the way of training even though I am currently in a place where all I have to do is train!

Having fully recovered from my injuries I am excited to go from where I am now and take on another 8 week challenge while I am still in China.

The days are going to pass anyway so you may as well set a goal and give it your best shot!
