My name is Sarah. I’m 33 years old and I live in Appleton, WI; I have lived here most of my life.

At the end of the challenge, I am down 24.8 pounds! I started at 334.5 pounds and I’m down to 309.7! I have more energy and starting to feel better about my body. With me being as big as I am, even though I’ve lost 24.8 pounds, it’s not as noticeable as someone smaller that would have lost this amount of weight. However, I am noticing my pants are a bit looser and I even can see my collar bone! I have a long ways to go though, here I come 100 pound club!!!

I have a full and amazing life as I have a great full-time job, am a homeowner, going to Fox Valley Technical College part-time to earn my Associates Degree as an Administrative Professional, I have a pet sitting “business” that keeps me crazy busy, I have a Shih Tzu named Maisy that I love beyond words and I have great friends and family.

However, this wasn’t always my story. I am actually a recovering alcoholic/addict. I have been sober since March 27, 2008 (so 9 years!!!). Before getting sober, I couldn’t imagine having to endure life sober. My life revolved around getting drunk or high. I pushed away all my friends, was in debt over my head, on the verge of losing my job, was expelled from High School my Senior year, had no interest in taking care of my health and my liver was starting to fail… all by the age of 24! Because of my excessive drinking and lack of nutrition, I packed on a lot of weight!

Once I got sober I thought I would be able to lose the weight easily, but that wasn’t the case for me. It turns out, I like cake! I was so used to not taking care of myself, that it’s truly a challenge to care for myself the way I see others do for themselves. I always find an excuse as to why I can’t do something that would be good for me. Things as simple as walking the dog or even brushing my teeth can be a battle.

I have tried so many things to lose weight. Things like counting calories, Weight Watchers, clean eating, Beachbody, Suzanne Summers diet, went to Biggest Loser Resort in Chicago for 2 weeks, Juicing fast, the bacon and grapefruit juice diet, tried going to dietitians, working out with a personal trainer, taking Vitamins, etc., etc. All to no avail! Some I would lose weight on, but it was so much work I would eventually fizzle and go back to my normal, much easier, life style.

My brother-in-law told me about YOR Health and he said that a lot of people were losing weight with it. I was so skeptical. However, my sister and my brother-in-law live with me and they decided to take the leap and do it. I was so torn. I had no motivation to try another program. But, I didn’t want to be left in the dust if they were successful, so I reluctantly joined in.

My first week was hard. However, when I stepped onto the scale after that first week my walls started to tumble down fast! 1 week with YOR Health and I was already down 12.7 pounds! That’s some awesome motivation right there! So I started to do some more research and started to become more comfortable with the program and the process. Now I’m kind of a walking Billboard for YOR Health as I’m totally impressed!

One of the best things about this program is that I can allow myself to have a cheat meal, usually on Saturday, and it doesn't completely sabotage all my work. As long as I take my Digest pills with my meal and don't make it a whole day eating frenzy, I'm OK! That means I can eat something yummy, without feeling guilty. There is no feeling of being deprived for me. I am making healthier choices (which is huge progress!) and allowing myself to eat the things I love, but in moderation.

For exercise I have only been walking at this point. I am hoping, as I lose weight, that exercise will become more of a priority for me. Being over 300 pounds, it really puts a lot of strain and pressure on my joints and back. In other words, being fat hurts.

I made Saturday's my weigh in day and I don't weigh in any other days. That keeps me off the obsessive roller coaster, as body weight fluctuates day to day.

This program is simple and provides fast results, which is exactly what I need. With having a shake for breakfast and dinner, I am not constantly battling to find time to meal prep extravagant meals. My lunches are simple and snacks are easy-peasy. Plus the shakes are absolutely delicious and actually filling and satisfying!

After the first week cleanse, the Regimen I follow is:

1. WAKE UP: Take 1 probiotics, 1 repair, 2 multi-vitamin - All together

2. BREAKFAST: 3 scoops of vanilla (Because I'm so large), 1 scoop of Super Green, and 1 scoop of fiber. Mix them all together with 10-12 oz. of water. (Sometimes I blend with a few cubes of ice or use cold Coffee instead of water. Also adding Berry Blast to my shake for an extra kick of energy, if I'm not using coffee that morning.)

3. MID-MORNING SNACK (CHOOSE 1)(Don't be afraid to take a Digest with your snack, especially if you eat oatmeal):
a. 1 cup of vegetables
b. 1 fruit
c. Hand full of nuts
d. 2-3 hard-boiled eggs
e. Yogurt
f. Plain Oatmeal with a dab of peanut butter and some berries (like blueberries, strawberries, etc)

4. 30 MINS BEFORE EATING LUNCH: 2 Super slim + 2 Multi-vitamins

5. LUNCH:
a. Take 1-2 Digest right before, during or after eating your meal
b. Must have on your plate (protein, healthy carbs, and healthy fat).

6. MID-AFTERNOON SNACK (CHOSE 1):
a. 1 cup of vegetables
b. 1 fruit
c. Hand full of nuts
d. 2 hard-boiled eggs
e. Yogurt

7. 30 MINS BEFORE EATING: Take 2 Super slim + 2 Multi-vitamins

8. DINNER: 3 scoops of vanilla and 1 scoop of fiber. Mix them together with 10-12 oz. of water. (Feel free to blend with a few cubes of ice if you’d like.)

• Take the berry blast when you feel tired or before you work out for endurance.
• Someone that meal preps their lunch and snacks always get faster results. Choose two day out of the week to prep the meals. Ex: Sunday night prep for Mon - Wed, Wednesday night prep for Thurs - Sat. Sunday prep again.
• Do not starve yourself! If you are hungry, eat!
• No fruits after 5 pm.
