When my up lines first suggested the 8 week challange to me, my thoughts were "oh hell no!" and told them i didnt know if i had time; being a full time chef and working 60 hr weeks. Then secretly laughed to myself at the thought of me going to the gym.
Soon i discovered that my fellow team members were all joining the chaleange, to show others how much fun it can be to transform your body, with your friends. Having no experience at the gym i decided to get myself a personal trainer. i was very fortunate to get the opportunity to work with a very well respected representative fro YOR Health Australia. By far, the most self driven person i have ever met, Chris Cmrlec (Emerald), along with nutritional guidelines and a understanding of the products, i had all the support i needed. i would train with Chris once a week, then share with my friends (the other 5-6 days) all the new things i had learnt in my personal training sessions.
My mindset changed instantly after the first week of the challenge. i was having so much fun living a active and healthy lifestyle. i also enjoyed my diet, which allowed me to appreciate the benefits of plant base nutrition because i use to eat a lot of junk food and drink 2-3 liters of coke cola a day before taking YOR Health. Also the healthy competition with friends was great motivation.
If it wasn't for the YOR Best Body challenge, i wouldn't be in this position right now, of being in the best shape in all my 26 years and if it wasn't for the products, i wouldn't be the healthiest i have ever been. What i love even more, is that the fun doesn't have to end now that the challenge is over. I've now gained a love for my new lifestyle and it's time for round 2! Still gotta look good when i collect my prize in Cali, right?
Products - 2x complete burn before morning workout. after workout super greens, fiber plus with half juice half alkaline water. first 3 weeks added berries, bananas and almond meal. then 2x essential vitamins 1x probiotics 2x repair. for lunch 1x scoop MRP chocolate 1x scoop MRP vanilla or 100gm chicken with raw brocoli and spinich with 1x digest ultra 2x essential vitamins. evening 1x MRP chocolate 1x MRP vanilla 1x fiber plus 1x berry blast. after work around 9pm (sometimes) grilled salmon with green vegetables 1x digest 2x essential vitamins. evening workout 2x complete burn. before bed 2x repair.
Training - first 4 weeks i trainied 1 hr, 5 days a week just rotating each muscle group and colaborating with my personal trainer so i wouldn't clash with his training plans. Last 4 weeks, i trained 2hrs a day, 6 days a week. 1 hr in the morning with 20 min run and 40min core workout then 1 hr after work at the gym. In between i loved activities such as 1000 steps and rock climbing.
