Hi my name is Melissa Yang. I'm a mother of three amazing boys. Since getting married (1999), I've struggled to maintain a healthy weight. During the past 18 years, my weight fluctuated anywhere between 117lbs to 189lbs. I lost a lot of weight in the last few years and got myself back down to 125lbs, only to gain some back in this past year. By January 2017, I found myself weighing 149lbs again.

I decided to take this challenge to force myself to do something about my weight. I realize that the only way I'll lose weight is if I am intentional about it, and I get myself involved in some kind of challenge to encourage myself to eat healthy and workout. YOR Health was appealing to me because I've struggled with my digestive system since I can remember. Going to the bathroom was never a part of my daily (even weekly sometimes) routine. After watching some videos, I realize that my body was not digesting food well and that was most likely a major contributing factor to my weight gain.

I love what YOR Health has done for me. This challenge has help me to lose weight, gain confidence, go to the bathroom more regularly and jump start a healthy routine for me to maintain my weight.

My routine varied but for the most part, this is what I tried to stick to:
Mornings: 1 YOR Probiotics, 1 YOR Repair Ultra, 2 YOR Super Slim (30min-1hr before breakfast), Berry Blast (only if I'm working out), 30-40 min workout
Breakfast: 2 scoops YOR Protein Shake + 1 scoop YOR Supergreen + 1 scoop YOR Fiber Plus, 2 YOR Essential Vitamins after the meal
Morning snack: nuts, fruits, veggies
Lunch: 2 scoops YOR Protein Shake, 2 YOR Essential Vitamins after the meal
Afternoon snack: Greek yogurt w/flax seeds & chia seeds, nuts/fruits/veggies, or 2 scoops YOR Supergreen + 2 scoops YOR Fiber Plus
Dinner: clean meal (most of the time), 1 YOR Digestive Ultra and 2 YOR Essential Vitamins after the meal
Evening snack: Greek yogurt w/flax seeds & chia seeds, or nuts, fruits, veggies, 1 scoop YOR Supergreen
Bedtime: 1 YOR Repair Ultra
My workouts were 3-6 times a week, 30-40 minutes of running or cardio.

This challenge has changed my entire family's lives. Although my family do not take any of the YOR Health products, we have become accustom to working out together and striving to eat healthier. My whole family has become healthier through my participation in this 8 week challenge.
