My name is Erik, a 43 year old husband, dad/step-dad to six kids, engineer, volleyball coach. I split my time between taking care of our baby and other kids, fighting a crooked custody system, and coaching a varsity volleyball team.
I decided to take the 8-week challenge because over the years, I would slowly put on weight, and over the years it became harder and harder to get it off. When I was a kid, I could eat whatever I wanted and wake up fit. When I got a little older and I couldn't sleep off the pounds, all I had to do was jog a few times, and I was back. That technique slowly let me down. I could feel waves ripple through my gut when I jogged and that bothered me. I had to start wearing shirts on jogs and even to the beach, as I felt the world did not want to see me jiggle and I sure as heck did not want to show them. I didn't feel like me. I felt like me in a fat suit, and I wanted it off. My problem was I had no time to exercise regularly, and no time to eat right, whatever that meant.
My wife had been thinking about YOR Health for a few years. I was skeptical and resistant. Finally, she said we needed to try it. It was for our health, and if not now, then when. I said okay, and told her if it worked, I would follow. I did not have high hopes. I saw the pounds drop off of her, and I was sold!
I hopped on board with YOR health. I started with the sculpt program, trying to convince myself that I wasn't that far gone, but who was I kidding. I had a decent amount of fat and no time to exercise. So, I transitioned to the slim regimen to tackle my fat with diet alone.
I lost 21 pounds was by doing the following: I replaced two meals a day with the Yor Shakes and ate a light lunch that was not starchy, such as salad or meat dish.
In the morning when I first wake up, I take a probiotic on an empty stomach and then 2 Super Slims. I wait for 30 minutes and then did a Yor Shake for breakfast (mix 10oz water + 2 scoops YOR vanilla shake + 2 scoops fiber + 1 scoop SuperGreens) and multivitamin. For snacks between breakfast and lunch, I ate raw veggies or eggs with water or Greek Yogurt.
For lunch: I took 2 SuperSlims, I waited 30 minutes, then eat lunch. My Lunch was usually a dish that did not contain too much carbohydrates. I ate salads and meat. I also take 2 YOR Digest with my meal and take 2 vitamins.
For my afternoon snacks: I usually do an avocado or eggs/omelet. OR I mix 10 oz cold water and ice + 1 scoop SuperGreens + 1 pack berry blast
For my Dinner, I take 1or2 SuperSlims, wait 30 minutes, then eat dinner which is a Yor Shake also. I mix 10oz water + 2 scoops YOR chocolate shake + 2 scoops fiber, and I also take 2 vitamins.
My wife and Sanya gave me the support I needed and 8 weeks later, I feel great!! I have no need to feel bad if I decide to jog or go to the beach without a shirt on. I feel good in my skin again!
