After I turned 41, my blood pressure was getting a little high and my blood sugar was also showing elevation. I was also feeling tired all the time and had no energy for normal daily activities, especially with my 7 years old daughter. I am 44 this year and finally got tired of it. My employer was offering a healthy weight incentive of $300 for losing 15 pounds if we were not within the "healthy" weight range, so I went for it. I lost a total of 19 pounds and earned the $300. My goal was to change my lifestyle and become healthier for the long run.
