My weight has been a constant struggle for me my entire life. Every year I gain more and more and even more weight. I reached my highest weight of 203 pounds recently. At 203, I had hit rock bottom. I started to accept that I will always be an over weight girl. I decided that I'm a good person. I work hard. I have good family, I have a boyfriend that loves me. My life is pretty great, we can't have it all. My weakness is just my weight. It's the thing I'll have to accept. I'll never be that girl that is fit or able to wear bathing suits at the beach. Nor girl that can wear those beautiful dress I see on the mahicans in the store windows. Little did I realize I was giving up.
Then last year one of the most amazing and traumatic things happened to me. My boyfriend got down on one knee and proposed. It was one of the happiest moments of my life, hearing that he wanted to spend the rest of his life with ME! However, I couldn't help but also be torn at the same time. I was tormented at the image of a 203 pound woman walking down the isle. Everyone close to me is going to witness this huge, overweight girl walking down the isle in this big white puffy dress, as if white is so flattering on large people. I tried to convince my fiancé that we love each other and that's all that matters. We don't need a formal wedding. We can just go to city hall, save the money and it will just be small, intimate, and between the two of us. He wasn't having it, he said he wanted to have a formal wedding. Internally my intestants were turning into a bundle of knots as I failed to convince him to not have this wedding.
Months and months went by and I started to realized that my fiancé was not budging and that this wedding is going to happen with me over weight or not. I started getting into panic mode. I wanted to just go into the corner, breakdown and cry! It was getting so close now that crying was not going to help me loose any weight. Finally I got myself together, "It's now or never Outtara!" With just a few months before the wedding I had two choices to get fit or stay the same! I can give up, be sad and insecure as I walk down the isle or I can work hard to get fit. As I envisioned my fiancé smiling as I walked down the isle, I decided that I wanted to give it my all and be the most beautiful bride that I can be for my soon to be husband. I decided to give it my best shot.
I start eating better and taking the YorHealth Products. After a couple of months I lost 8 pounds. I decided that I need to turn it up if i'm going to be ready for this wedding, I decided to join The 8 Week Challenge to keep myself accountable. I joined the challenge weighing in at 194 pounds. I had joined about a dozen other times and have never yet completed an 8 week challenge in my life. However this time it was going to be different. I was more committed then anything. I am getting married to the man of my dreams and I want that day to be the happiest day. My weight is the last thing I want to worry about.
I started eating four balanced small meals a day. I started working out twice a day, fasted cardio in the morning and then lifting weights in the evening time, followed by another cardio session. I used the YorHealth supplements everyday to enhance my performance and recovery. I took the Probiotics, Super Slim, Repair, Essential Vitamins and Supergreens ever morning. Followed with the Digestive Enzymes with every meal to ensure that all of my meals are being broken down for digestion. I did this every single day.
Some days were better then others, I just have to keep going with the end goal in mind and just took it one day at a time. I'm such a perfectionist and I've learned that the world is not perfect, nor am I. I can't wait for all the light to be green for me to go. If the day went perfect or not, the most important this is that I wake up the next day and do my best to be the BEST ME I CAN BE! Today I am 171 pounds. I'm down three pant sizes. I am at my lowest weight in over 10 plus years.
This journey has helped me to gain so much confidence and belief in myself. I believe now that I can do the impossible once I put my mind to it. There is no goal too big once you believe. I am the happiest I have ever been. With only two weeks left before I walk down the Isle, I can say that on my wedding day, I will be the happiest bride because I can enjoy my day instead of worrying what everyone is thinking.
I've learned that, just when you are about to give up! DON'T, you never know what you can conquer until you try! Never give up. Dreams do come true once you commit.
I'd like to really thank those that were there to support me through this journey. First thank you to YorHealth for having the best supplements in the market, I can't even imagine my life without it. My good friend Angely Rojas for being there to support me every step of the way. My Fiancé Adolfo Beltre for being there to understand my process and loving every moment of the way. My coach and friend, Oscar Ardon, your expertise of health and fitness gave me the confidence to understand what to do and when to do it. Thank you for giving me confidence when I didn't have any. I couldn't of done this without each and every one of you.
