This challenge was very difficult for me. I focused more on maintaining my body.
I started a new job working 6 days a week. I would leave the house at 6am and get home around 10pm. That didn't leave much time for the gym. Knowing this I knew I had to change my diet in order to continue to keep the body I have worked hard to have.
I would eat a good healthy breakfast in the morning. Instead of eating out for lunch at work I would always pack my own lunch filled with fruits, and vegetables. By the time I got home from work I would make juice or have a yorshake for dinner. And as always taking my Digest Ultra and Vitamins with every meal.
I made sure to consciously be aware of my less "activeness" so I would always choose the stairs instead of elevators. Walk fast from the subway to the 5 blocks to work and consistently time myself while trying to beat my best time.
Although I didnt gain the amount of muscle weight I wanted to. I do feel like I further toned up my body. Even the smallest amount of progress is still progress. And for that I am happy with my results for this 8 week challenge.
