Where to begin? My name is Brianda, I am 28 years old. I have 2 children (an excuse I used for my weight).It’s been quite a journey for me. In my before picture you see 197 lbs, depressed, zero confidence, and no self love. A year leading up to that picture included a traumatic sexual assault, a toxic relationship and a lot of betrayal. I began isolating myself from friends, family and even began to neglect my job. If I got out of bed, it was because I needed to take my children to school. Otherwise, I would just eat, stay in bed and eat in bed some more. I slowly sunk and sunk. After 4 months of isolation, depression, overeating and self hating, I hit rock bottom. I remember one day trying to get into my favorite pair of LEGGINGS but they were so tight! I then got on a scale and saw the shocking 200 lbs!!! I finally had enough, I started cutting out soda, chips, and fast food. I dropped 5 lbs but I still found myself getting pulled into that depression and gave into my cravings and so I gained back 2 lbs. I thought “I can’t do this, I will never lose this weight.” UNTIL, I saw my sponsor’s post on Facebook. It was a progress picture and it was then that she introduced me to YORHealth. It was a life saver! I am now 174 lbs, those leggings are LOOSE on me! And most importantly, I am so much healthier both physically and emotionally.
My routine was like this:
8 am MORNING greens with fiber
10 am shake
12 pm healthy lunch
2 pm berry blast (for the gym- 1 hr)
6 pm shake with fiber
*in between I would have small healthy snacks and I would take a digest pill with every shake and meal and probiotics right before bed.
** when I didn’t have time to go to the gym, I at least tried to take a walk with my kids in the evening
