The YOR Health 8 week challenge is my go-to when I need to keep myself accountable to a goal.
I love the YOR Health products. They have helped me twice now to get back to my pre-baby size even when I couldn’t fit exercise in the second time around.
I have a YOR shake every morning for breakfast, loaded up with Supergreens and a Berry Blast. This is the best start to my day and so convenient. I also have Digest Ultra regularly with meals, and sometimes another shake on training days.
It has been 3 years since I have been able to fit exercise into my life, with the arrival of our second daughter 2 years ago and crazy work schedules of myself and my husband. I recently found a new gym that does 30 minute sessions, and I went between 1 and 4 times a week for this challenge.
It has been a bit tricky to stay consistent with exercise as during the challenge we have had Christmas parties, kids birthday parties, sold and bought houses and moved. It has been a particularly stressful time, but I feel stronger than I have in years and am so happy that the products have been part of my daily routine for almost 6 years to keep me happy with my general shape. Now in my 30’s, I still feel able to get great results combining the products and exercise to achieve the body I want to have.
I used a body scanning system to track the changes this time and been able to lose fat and gain muscle simultaneously and reduce my overall body fat by 2.2%. I can see I’ve lost the muffin top belly that was bothering me right before summer in Australia! My abs were popping more a couple of weeks ago, but we only moved house last week, and I know I can get them to where I want to be within a few more weeks. The biggest change I have noticed is my strength when playing with the kids. Even though I was slim, I was still getting tired easily. Now I feel so much younger and stronger and it’s made me a happier mum.
I’m really looking forward to the new year to see what I can achieve with the next challenge!
