Phew! The 8 week challenge is over but it is only the start of my journey! What motivated me to start the challenge was that I had been putting so much of my time into work that I had been ignoring my own health and wellbeing. Struggling with multiple sclerosis and nursing was a challenge within itself, but I knew I was only making it harder by not looking after myself in the best possible way I could.

When I first started the 8 week challenge I was tired all the time and would struggle with energy levels, particularly later in the day. I wasn’t sleeping as well as I used to, and was struggling to fit in to my favourite clothes.

From basically “winging it” most days with my nutrition, I’ve learnt how important planning ahead is! It has helped my fatigue at work and in everyday life. Fueling your body with the right food is so important not just for your day to day life but for your training.

I’ve slowly grown my confidence in the gym with the help of my coach Quoc. I was so scared of failure I wouldn’t pick the “harder” option, in fear of judgement. Quoc made me feel that I could be open and honest with him and that he would help me rather than judging me. Not once have I felt bad about myself or my body in this challenge, there is nothing but encouragement, support and fun. I now feel as if I have made a major lifestyle change.

A small (but also massive) victory for me was being able to do a proper push-up off my knees! I’m still working on a pull up but can feel improvement every time I practise.

I’ve not only improved my strength and fitness but also my cooking skills ! Being prepared, organised and having a great support group is definitely the key to success. Can’t wait to see what I can achieve in the new year.

Please be advised that the testimonials contained on this website and any other publication or printed materials reflect only the experiences of the customer who has provided the testimonial. YOR Health does not make any claim that such experiences are typical or are indicative of future performance or success of using one of their products.

The above individual’s results may not be typical. As of July 2025, those who completed 8 weeks in the weight loss category of YOR Best Body lost an average of 13.87 lb (6.29 kg), or 1.73 lb (0.78 kg) per week. When replacing 2 out of 5 mini-meals per day with a meal replacement shake, the average person should expect to lose 1-2 pounds per week. As with any reduced-calorie diet, the amount of weight you'll lose will depend on the number of calories you consume in proportion to your weight. Optimal results are achieved when following the product regimen in combination with a healthy diet and exercise program.

Individual results may vary. Factors that may affect your results include (but are not limited to) your metabolism, exercise routine, diet, smoking, pregnancy, current medications and any medical conditions. As with any health or fitness program, regular exercise and a sensible eating plan are essential to achieve long-term weight loss results. No customer was paid for a testimonial.
