After feeling tired, sluggish and not myself for a number of months I decided it was time to take control and start the journey to making myself feel better from the inside out - and I could not think of a better partner for this journey then the YOR Health 8 Week Challenge!

I started the challenge in December which I knew was going to be a challenge within itself being that it’s the busiest time of my year. Christmas Parties, End of year celebrations, Work Holidays, Daycare Holidays and Summer being the hottest season we’re some of the reasons I told myself that I wouldn’t succeed. However I’m so glad I ignored these doubts and signed up as now I’m feeling more better then ever and am motivated to achieve more.

My main goal when signing up to the challenge was to become more energised and to feel overall healthier. My diet was not the best and exercise wasn’t a priority or something I had the energy for. I was satisfied with my general body shape however if I became leaner and toned making my results more visual then I would of been quite happy being that it’s summer in Australia. I knew to achieve my goal I needed to start eating clean and introduce routine exercise into my routine - I also knew that premium quality health products supporting my body was also going to help me in achieving my goal!

I used a wide combination of YOR Health products during my challenge. I would start my day with a Berry Blast and a YOR Probiotic Ultra. On training days I would have a YOR Shake and to support muscle recovery I took the YOR Repair Ultra. I changed my diet ensuring it was well balanced and with two of my three Dailey meals I would take the YOR Digest Ultra to ensure I was getting the best of the nutrients I was consuming.

Having time to exercise has always been a massive struggle for me. Working full time, having two small children and with my husband working nights and weekends it leaves me very little time to do anything for myself, including exercise. To help with this obstacle I brought myself 5kg dumbbells and a 7kg kettlebell as an early Christmas gift, and at home 3-4 times a week when the kids had gone down for the night I would do some light weight training. For cardio I started walking to and from work on the day I didn’t need to do daycare drop off/pick ups, and on my lunch breaks instead of sitting at my desk and scrolling through socials I would put a podcast on and go for a walk. Over the Christmas period, during Work holidays I was camping with my children and didn’t have any gym equipment available so I completed exercises using my body weight and I made sure to get at least an hours walk/run in everyday.

I am super proud of my result! I feel so much more energised making my bubblier and also more playful with my children. My body shape also changed and has become more toned which I am also happy about. With being mainly focussed on making my mind and body to feeling 100% during this challenge, next challenge I’m excited to focus more on my weight training and to see what further physical changes can be made.

The healthier and balanced lifestyle introduced into my life whilst completing the challenge is my new normal, and it’s only up from here. Thanks YOR Health!
