Hello YOR Team. My name is Kathy Brayman and I am 65 years old. I retired in August and my new "job" is to get in shape and heart healthy. My good friend and YOR Distributor Martha Gonzalez Skinner has been encouraging me for several years to go to the gym with her so in September I worked out in a gym for the first time in my life! Martha also encouraged me to sign up for the 8 week challenge to motivate me. I have been going to the gym every day Monday thru Friday since 9/14 and while I have only lost a few pounds I have noticable muscle definition in my arms and legs and less back fat!! I didn't think to take my measurements before I started the challenge but the pictures show definite improvement. At the gym I start with stretches and yoga to warm up, move on to the machines for arms, legs, abs, glutes shoulders and chest and end my workout on the eliptical and/or treadmill for cardio, At my age my resting heart rate/metabolism really needs a boost!

I have been taking several YOR supplements for a few years and eat pretty healthy. I did lose almost 10 pounds with I started taking the supplements but put it back on so knew I had to start exercising to really get in shape. Every morning I have a Super Greens shake. For lunch I drink a chocolate shake with fiber. I take Digest Ultra with every meal and Repair Ultra before bed. I cracked a rib about a month ago and in 3 weeks I was pain free. I'm sure the repair shortened the recovery time.

My overall goal is to lose at least 20 pounds. I want to enjoy retirement for many years and being healthy and in shape is critical. In 8 short weeks I am a happier and more positive person about myself and life in general. I am looking forward to continuing this journey to see where I end up.
