Many years ago, I used to be very slim and I thought I could eat any thing I wanted and never gain weight. I think I used to weigh about 155 pounds. Over the course of the years, that thought started to change. I did not exercise much or at all. The only time I did was during summer when I played soccer. Back in 2008 I started a job as an Internet Salesperson for a car dealership. My work days required being on the phone and computer all day (sitting down). Couple that with no exercise and a not so good eating habit, the pounds started to add up. My six pack started to fade away. I even started having a big ass (lol). I guess I sat down too much during my work day. One of my problems weight losing weight was procrastination and consistency. Either I pushed it off or I started but did not follow through. For many years I have been trying to get on the Best Body Challenge, stay in it and rise a winner. I see myself getting back in change, getting my T-Shirt, getting on stage, being celebrated and being an inspiration to those who wanted to lose weight and look lean and fit but could not. Also being a lesson to those who are slim and think they could not gain the weight. I took this 8 Week Challenge as a chance to start and stay consistent. The thought of having 8 weeks to get to my goal put a sense of urgency in me. I had to get it done. I had to get back in shape. I want to be that 80 year heathy great grand father that is still in great shape, seeing his great grant kids grow and have fun. But it has to start now. I have to build the foundation now. So I enrolled in the challenge. To take myself even more serious, I put my BEFORE PICTURE on facebook. Now I really have to follow through. Otherwise what will my friends think about me if I didn't. More importantly, how will I feel about myself not following through again? How can I raise my daughter in a healthy way, if I do not have healthy habits? I had to follow through. How can I help my girlfriend and friends get to their goal if I can't help myself. So I signed up for a gym membership. Cut out my chinese food and mostly had MRP most meals for my day. And when I ate home cooked meal, I used the YOR Digest Ultra to supplement that. I took Complete Burn every morning and it helped start my day. YOR Berry Blast help maintain a good energy throughout my day. I took YOR Repair mostly when I felt I had worked myself too much. I played soccer almost everyday and took YOR Complete Burn before the game. I visited the gym about once or twice a week. I mostly ran around the pond in front of my house at different times of the day. Some days I ran around midnight. These are things I never did. Waking up at 5 or 6am was not normal for me. But this Challenge helped me accomplish that. Usually my daughters crying wakes me up. By now I am up and ready to go, she doesn't have to cry anymore. I am more upbeat. I go to work and while some of my colleague are feeling dizzy or tired through the day, I am upbeat and don't feel tired, like I used to feel. I admit along the way, I slipped up a little bit but I kept going and today I am glad to be writing this essay. I see myself getting that body I have always wanted. I see myself winning this Challenge. I see myself getting on stage, being celebrated, being an inspiration. Because if I can have a poor eating habit, be a procrastinator, be Mr. Inconsistent but through this Challenge, change and become a self started, have better habits, stay focused, learn to have the will power to say no to bad food but yes to good nutrition and exercise, keep my eye on the price, then I can use that everywhere else in my life and I believe anyone can the same. I am glad I completed this challenge and look forward to reenrolling.
