Hello. My name is Malgorzata Grubka aka Maggie.
I have joined this challenge to improve and get myself back into the game. I was at 230lbs in feb of 2013. I have lost 25 lbs but I hit a plateau unfortunately. So I stayed at 205 lbs. I was still unhappy so I was in desperate need of help.
This is my story.
Through out the years, I have gained pounds and pounds of fat due to things that I have experienced since my junior year of high school. I was 17 years old when things went downhill for me. I was doing track and field at the time when I was eating healthy and burning it off with no problem. I have lost one of my friends in a car accident jan of 2007, in which, my eating habits started to change drastically. I became depressed. That is when binge eating started and everything just didn't make sense for me anymore but I knew there was another culprit of my body gaining pounds of fat, so I had no choice but get help.
I went to doctors for years to figure out as to why I have been binge eating and as to why I was feeling this way. Last year, I went to my gyno to see why I wasn't getting my menstrual cycle and why I wasn't getting it every month. My gyno did ultrasound and found cysts in my ovaries and i mean multiple of them. I was diagnosed with PCOS (Polycystic ovarian syndrome), aura migraine and candidiasis. Unfortunately, these have been a problem for me for so many years not knowing it until recently. This scarred me. It was getting worse since I started my menstrual cycle. It's a battle I have been facing and struggling with. Also, finding out that my blood pressure was really high for my age was another factor into my weight gain. They measured at 180/110 in feb of 2013. I couldn't take it anymore so I started dieting from then on.
That is when my friend introduced me to YOR HEALTH products. I was very excited as to what these products can do to help me to get my healthy lifestyle back. The products that I used for this challenge was the MRP VANILLA, Yor repair, digest ultra and essential vitamins. When using these products I felt amazing. I had more energy and developed motivation to keep myself going. I always looked forward to using these products every single day. These products also helped me with my PCOS, migraine and candidiasis. It had regulated my appetite, salt intake and insulin levels with fewer migraines, going from 15 times a month to twice in 2 months. It has been a blessing.
I have definitely incorporated exercise into the challenge, that is for sure. You just cant lose weight without fitness. So? My fitness consisted of cardio, hiking and a bit of weights. Me, Being an endomorph/mesomorph body type, it was rather difficult as to what I can and can't do for my body.
This challenge helped me to learn that anyone can do it if they put their mind to it. It was a rather difficult challenge but I have conquered and I'm ready for my next one.
