The one thing that I love the most about my new body and lifestyle is that it’s filled with love, pride, and most importantly happiness. Each day, when I wake up and before I go to bed I can look at myself in the mirror and feel blessed and fulfilled with what I have accomplished. However it was not always like this.
Before joining Yor Health life was a struggle for me both mentally and physically. Ever since I was a child I had always struggled with digestive problems. It got so bad that I would only move my bowls once ever two week. And on some days the pain I felt was so unbearable that I would have to be rushed to the emergency room. This always scared me for two reasons. The one reason is that I had seen my mother struggle with digestive problems. Which made me feel like these issues were anything but temporary. The second reason being that my grandmother who I am named after died from stomach cancer. I didn’t want this issue to consume my life. So As a child I was very active. I loved traveling and helping others, so I would earn scholarships that sent me around the world exploring new cultures and helping improve their lifestyle, doing things ranging from 22 day rafting exploitation helping build relationship with behaviorally inhibited teens and cleaning up rivers, to building clinics in Africa and lunchrooms in Costa Rica. I also took all the medication my doctors would recommend and even changed my diet. However, even with all that, my digestion still did not improve.
It wasn’t until after attending Bucknell University that my physical state got worse. I have a double major, and holding the weight of some traumatic personal issues in life. It got so bad that I gained over 30 pounds my first year in college and my digestion was the worst that it had ever been. It was really depressing to see how my body had changed so quickly and that I had let it happened. It was my fiancé that told me about Yor health and their products. At first I did not think it would work because no medicine or diet had worked to change my situation over time but I thought that maybe it would help me manage my weight and get my digestion issue to manageable pain. However after just starting the products I lost 10lbs in 2 weeks and went from using the bathroom once very two weeks to once ever day. Then I gradually moved up to three times a day. That’s what really made me believe in the products. Even after that change I always had a problem with being consistent and disciplined enough to keep my results. So although joining the company proved that the products worked, joining the 8-week challenge program gave me the support I needed to really commit to getting into the best shape possible. After being blessed to attend the Yor –In training this year, I realized that I would subconsciously sabotage everything good happening in my life, even my physical state. Coming out of Yor –In I had worked through my issues of rape, poverty, and infidelity, and most important my fathers suicide. I realized that I did deserve to be happy and to have success and that I am worthy of self-love and receiving love from others. So my first goal was to have that new beauty reflect from the inside out. Thank God the company had just launched the new 8-week Challenge because it gave me a system that I would plug all of my new motivation, inspiration, and determination into. I knew the products worked, I knew I had what it took to commit to get fit. So I joined starting at 175 my fits cycle and begin this cycle at 160 I have gradually worked my way down to 152lb.
Each day I would take 2 complete burn; one when I first woke up and one right before my afternoon work out. However, on days that I worked out in the morning I took my second complete burn in the middle of my day, which was about an hour after lunch. Also in the morning I would take one probiotic. Everyday I would have at least one Yor Vanilla shake with one scoop of fiber. I used this to replace 1 out of my 3 daily meals. With my other two meals I made sure to take my Yor Digest Ultra as well as two Yor essential Vitamins. Later on in the day I would have another scoop of Yor Fiber Plus and Yor supper Greens with ¾cup of water and ¼ cup of orange juice as a snack. Lastly, I tried to work out at least three times a day for 60 minutes doing 30-minute cardio and 30 minute weight training.
For me I didn’t just lose 23lb of fat. I lost 23lbs of stress, self-doubt, self-hate, and ugliness. And now I feel more committed, disciplined, and sexier than I have ever felt. For me it’s almost as if every time I use the bathroom or lose a pound, I cheat death, obesity, and I reclaim my body by shaping it into what I want it to be. And what is more inspiring to me is that this is only the beginning because I am going to enter my next cycle with more drive, determination, and strength than ever before. Completing my challenge showed me that there is always room for accomplishments and improvements, and that we should always strive to be better so that the world can be a healthier and happier place to live. Although I missed my goal for this cycle by 2 lbs losing 23lb total though committing these challenge makes me feel more like a winner and an achiever than ever.
