Hello everyone! My name is Marisol Barroso and this is my first cycle for the Sculpt Challenge. I was introduced to the YOR Health product back in March of 2013 and bought my product and joined the Slim Challenge in March. I was in Group #5 and I did very well! I won 2nd place and won $750 of YOR Health product. I was so happy and excited with the results I got with using the product so thought why not step it up and join the Sculpt Challenge.
I've always wanted to gain lean muscle and tone my body but honestly doing it on my own was almost impossible. Before taking YOR health products, I was always active but I didn't know the importance of eating healthy and taking supplements to nourish the body. I joined a boot camp class and from months of taking the class I never got the results I wanted. YOR Health has given me the confidence and that extra push I've needed to keep going. When I started the challenge I was at 145 lbs and I dropped 5 lbs and gained muscle as well! I lost 2 inches off my waist. I feel amazing!! I'm 28 years old and I can say I'm in the best shape of my life. I have never seen my muscles look this good ever and I can start seeing my abs!
The products I took were from the Sculpt set. Early rising I would take a YOR Probiotic Ultra and a YOR Repair. I would drink a YOR MRP in the morning, for lunch, and after my workouts so I was having 3 shakes a day. For my morning shake, I would add YOR Fiber Plus and YOR Berry Blast. I was also snacking every 2 hrs. One of my snacks was the YOR Supergreens. I also had a meal around 6pm and I would take a YOR Digestive Ultra. So I was basically following the YOR Health meal plan that came with my set. I cannot pin point and say one supplement is better than the other. All of the supplements make me feel good, healthy, gives me so much energy, and has made this journey so easy and fun. I was a believer of the saying you are what you eat. Well I cannot agree more with YOR Health that you are what you absorb!
I would workout out 5 times a week. Everyday I would workout a different body muscle. For example, Mondays was bicep/tricep day, Tuesday would be back/shoulder day, etc. When I was in the Slim Challenge I did a whole lot of cardio because I wanted to lose weight and slim down. With the Sculpt Challenge, I would only do cardio 3 times a week for about 30 mins. Since my goal was to build lean muscle, I had to limit on much cardio I do and focus more on weights.
YOR Health has made a tremendous impact in my life. With YOR Health, I have discovered how strong I can be and what strengths I have. Everyday I become stronger and stronger and more confident in myself. I am finally achieving a dream I always wanted to accomplish and I could have not done it without YOR Health and my families support. My goal is to compete in a fitness competition soon. I am not stopping yet. I'm work in progress and I'm looking forward to joining another Sculpt Challenge. I will forever be thankful with YOR Health for giving me the extra push and motivation I needed and for making this journey easier than I thought it would be. Thank you!
