Before I started the challenge, I had a weak six pack and weighed just over 160lbs. I had a lack of natural energy that made it difficult for me to stay awake in my summer classes that took place early in the day. I used to chug coffee just to keep myself awake and focused enough to get work done. My girlfriend's sister is a promoter of the challenge and since I worked out regularly and take supplements, she put me in contact with her. The challenge sounded like nothing I had ever done before, and being a Human Biology major, all of the alkalinity and enzyme supplementation both made sense to me and attracted my interest. I never knew how important the acid/base balance was in the body before I started using the Best Body Set! Within 3 days of starting the challenge, I already felt a huge difference. I didn't even know I was bloated initially until I literally felt my whole core and midsection condense as the enzymes began to do their work. I immediately had so much more energy that I had no need for coffee and it was so easy for me to stop drinking it. Since then, I have not had more than 2 cups a week. My body fat % began to drop while my strength kept increasing. Before I started the challenge, I could not do a muscle-up. Muscle-ups are pull-ups, where you keep going above the bar until your waist is at the height of the bar! Now, I can crank them out like it's my job and I can't believe it has only been 8 weeks. I cannot wait to do my next challenge and see what new goals I will be able to crush!

Overall, I ended up losing 1 pound, but I gained a lot of strength. I went from 0 muscle-ups to 7 muscle-ups. My bench press max improved by 40 pounds from 135 to 175 lbs. My squat max improved 70 lbs from 225 to 295 lbs.
