Before starting my first ever 8 week challenge about 6 months ago, I was full of limiting beliefs about my ability to change my body. I was always told I was "big-boned", which I can now see was just an excuse for carrying extra weight. I was also fixated on the scales, making myself sick over the numbers on them. This latest 8 week challenge has been the first time in my life that I have gained weight on the scales but am happy about it. I have lost fat and gained muscle. I can truly understand that the numbers on the scale are not important; it is how you look and feel that matters!
This challenge I got into the habit of waking up early to get to the gym before going to work. I joined a gym, which only just opened up during the fourth week of my challenge. Thanks to the changes I have experienced with the YOR Health products, I have fallen in love with going to the gym! I’m addicted! I love that I have so much more energy to work out and I can recover super-fast with the repair ultra.
I used the complete YOR Health product range throughout the challenge.
I used CompleteBurn for pre-workout. I found I was able to train much harder when using this product. There were a few times where I did not use it and I noticed a considerable difference in my performance. As a post-workout shake, I mixed Supergreens, Fibre and Vanilla MRP. Berry blast came in handy for an afternoon pick-me-up, giving me the energy and concentration to get a lot more done with my day.
I took 2x essential vitamins, 3 times a day. I had one digest ultra twice a day, with my biggest meals.
Before bedtime, I took the probiotic and repair ultra.
This challenge has been great. For the first time in my life, I am not constantly comparing my body to that of other people. I am in the best shape I have been in my entire life and I am looking forward to continually working on my best body and testing my limits to see how far I can stretch them!
