I can honestly say, I was very hesitant to get involved in the YOR Best Body 8 week challenge. I went through a major setback as I was playing basketball and sustained a herniated disc, which completely changed the way how I would view my own health. Some of the simplest things that can be taken for granted, such as walking, running and jumping--I could not do anymore without feeling pain moving from my lower back and into my legs. I had no idea if I was able to live a normal life, or if this pain would continue to bother me. I was put on different medications and painkillers, and was eventually visiting a chiropractor three times a week, hoping things would turn out for the best. Because I was so limited to physical activity, and had a office job working 40 hours a week, I ended up gaining an extra 10 to 15 pounds in the process.

I made the decision to get started in the YOR Best Body Challenge, simply because my mother saw the amount of weight I gained in such a short period of time. I knew I had to make the change to start turning my physical health around for the better. Even though my back injury was still lingering, I did the best I could to prove to myself that I could get back on the right track.

For the first month of my challenge, I was not doing any type of physical activity. What I had control of was my food intake and YOR Health products! For breakfast, I would start with an MRP mixed with SuperGreens, Fiber Plus, and either a Berry Blast or 1 CompleteBurn. Along with that, I'll have a small bowl of greek yogurt mixed with raw oats and dried cranberries. For lunch, I will take 2 Essential Vitamins, along with 1-2 Digest Ultras, and have a meal consisting of quinoa, grilled chicken breast or fish, along with some salad and vegetables. For dinner, I will either make another MRP or have a light salad with chicken breast. In addition, I drank plenty of water each day. By the second month of the challenge, I started some light resistance training using my own body weight. I exercised for 15-20 minutes per night roughly 5 times a week, rotating between push ups, crunches, and planks to strengthen my back and core.

Overall, I went from 155 lbs. to now 140 lbs, losing a total of 15 pounds through this challenge! I am completely amazed that I was able to transform myself from being physically immobile at one point to now feel healthier, stronger and not letting any limitations hold me back! Thanks to YOR Health for making this all possible!

Optimal results are achieved when following the product regimen in combination with a healthy diet and exercise program.

Individual results may vary. Factors that may affect your results include (but are not limited to) your metabolism, exercise routine, diet, smoking, pregnancy, current medications and any medical conditions.
