Hello Yor Health Family!
My name is Heather Walser and this is my FIRST cycle of the 8 week challenge. I started the challenge weighing 141 lbs and finished at 138 lbs. Weight however was not my focus. I focused on better nutrition and to work on my body so it was at its peak for the indoor volleyball season.
Healthy Lifestyle:
Unfortunately I am plagued with always being sick. I work in a laboratory so I should have this impenetrable immune system, NOT! I suffer from exhaustion, frequent respiratory colds, and migraines that seem to occur on a monthly basis. I must admit that I am not a vitamin type of girl but at some point a change needs to be made! Yor Health allows me to get the proper nutrition I need and its not just about taking vitamins, its about knowing that the nutrition that is entering my body is also being absorbed properly and I'm getting the full nutritional value I think I'm consuming.
Competition:
I love the 8 week challenge because it is a CHALLENGE. I am a super competitive person and an avid volleyball player. I play, coach, and overall love the game. Any one who knows the game well enough also knows that it is a huge core workout. What other sport do you know that does a crunch in the air! With that being said one of my focuses this challenge was to work on my core. I'm always looking to improve my technical skills so why shouldn't I also be looking at improving my physical skills as well.
Motivation:
To keep myself motivated during the challenge, I signed up with three close friends. How much easier is it to accomplish your goals when you are also cheering on your friends to do the same? I love having friends to go to Zumba with me, kick my butt lifting weights, and overall just helping me push my limits.
I couldn't be happier knowing my body is getting the proper nutrition it deserves. I am actively working toward my goals and I have an amazing support group joining me on this adventure.
My Routine:
Wake up call 5am
Rising/Bedtime Packet (Yor Probiotics Ultra/ Yor Repair) with two large glasses of water
MRP on the way to work
Lunch with Meal 1 Packet (Digest Ultra & Yor Essential Vitamin)
Complete Burn 30 minutes prior to working out
Workout: (Usually Zumba as a cardio warmup and then weight lifting)
MRP with fiber: Chocolate with cinnamon is my fav!
Dinner with Meal 2 Packet
Sleep and plenty of it!
I worked out 6 days of week always taking Sunday as my day of rest.. rest days are always important :)
