YOR Health, What does YOR Health mean to me? You ask how it’s changed me? Well it hasn’t changed me, it’s impacted me positively, and it’s impacted me for the better. I'm Georginna Bonaventura and this challenge has increased my fitness levels, I can now run on the treadmill instead of walk, it’s transformed my body for the better physically, I now have legs I’m not ashamed to show off. I never went into this to change me, I did this because, yes I knew the right way to loose weight but I never felt good doing it, YOR Health gave me the shove I needed in the right direction. YOR Health to me is like a personal trainer that’s there mentally in my mind but not physically and that’s where I had to come into play. I heard about YOR Health through my loved one, my partner, who is a rep and I naturally feed off from his happiness, success and lively vibes. He gives me such pleasure and inspiration from all in life not just fitness but when I saw what drive YOR Health was giving him, I decided I wanted IN… And that’s how I have found myself in the eight-week challenge.
When your feeling good and re-energized strangely enough it makes you want to eat good and keep moving. I weighed at 62kg at the beginning of this challenge, with a BMI of 23 and in Australian regulations that’s healthy. It may have been a healthy weight but I wasn’t pleased on how my body looked and how it felt on the inside, I was never unhappy and I felt comfortable in my skin because of my bubbly personality but in the back of my mind I always knew I wanted to be better. Starting with YOR Super Greens I was taking this well before the challenge because It made me feel good because mentally I knew it fed me my 24 fruits and vegetables, and the goodness just beamed through me. It transformed me to GO completely GREEN BABY! I started juicing, early Sunday morning market shops for Kale, Parsley you name it. I now have a network of friends asking me about my juices, what I use, what I’m doing, saying they look great. Vegie Girl – Tegan Steele’s recipes referred through your website was an inspiration to her story and her mission to transform one person at a time. Once you go green you really don’t go back. YOR Fiber Plus was what I later mixed in with the Super Greens, daily as I had a lack of digestive regularity and this has helped balance that out much easier and softer on my digestive system. The Super Greens and Fiber Plus combines more of an energy boost then any product even the YOR Berry Blast, which I touched on but I chose to leave out due to the veg and fruit intake was more of a natural energy boost and that I believed in more.
A key product are the YOR Essential Vitamins, I am anemic and the endless results coming back from my doctor, that my iron was low got tiring after awhile, the vitamins revitalized and energy-boosted my body to sky rise optimal ratios of maximum iron back into my body and the iron supplements have been given the flick. These beauties are taken 2x before my three main meals daily. The mornings without a doubt start with YOR Probiotics Ultra. At the start I didn’t feel like this product was doing much, it wasn’t until half way that I realized I never felt healthier from my natural energy I was producing and it’s proved how unhealthy my appearance use to be, not that I have ever suffered from an overweight problem as I always have conducted in a moderate healthy lifestyle. Lastly, there was YOR Digest Ultra, this was only taken at times to help break down a big meal. I’m an Italian girl in a big Italian family, and although my parents are extremely lean and healthy who love cooking and trying new cuisines, family nights still take their toll. It helped reduce discomfort by giving me nutrients to support healthy blood sugar levels and healthy fat metabolism. I’m tough when it comes to products and what they entail, I wouldn’t be supporting these products if I didn’t believe they were feeding goodness.
Teaming up with the happiness and products of YOR Health was exercise. Which played a huge role. By the end of this experience fitness has become apart of life, enjoyable rather than a hassle. I did and still exercise 4 – 5 days weekly.Cardio, weights and attending classes are what my regime entailed, Belinda Carusi a mentor supplied by the YOR health website, acted as a guide from a look into her life of how she looked at food and fitness. She gave me a basis idea that I built upon myself to head into this challenge. One big tip I took away from her was eating 5-6 smaller meals per day. One of my goals in relation to fitness was to attend cycle classes, which I wasn’t fit enough for a long time ago, I succeeded and ‘now is to be an enjoyment tackle’. By all means, it’s not so easy, I’ve had to climb the mountain so to speak of fitness before I could arrive to the top and find it a thrill to slide down the other side. I achieved climbing MT Tibrogargan. Such a challenge to the mind and body, however it wasn’t going to stop me because I always want to try and conquer my fears/life, so with my rock beside me (my partner) we got up to the top together, and it felt amazing!!! Another fitness tribute, which I unfortunately only found towards the end but plan to continue are, group boot camps with the YOR Health Brisbane, QLD team at kangaroo point. The adrenalin and positive energy that everyone brought, makes is that less hard and more enjoyable to my whole fitness regime.
Overall, you ask what impact has this challenge had on my life? It’s given me a good taste of life; it’s inspired me to always do my best, to conquer fears and to chase dreams. When you feel good inside and out it makes you crave all that life has to offer you. My family has always taught this to me and I’ve lived it and appreciated it as they are everything to me but now I have felt it MYSELF with the background and boost of YOR Health. I had cheat days, and holidays with no excessive exercise, I had a week of being sick that happened but not intended, I didn’t find them all as an excuse – that’s life and has trained my body to adapt to that, as it wont always be so strict. I’ve achieved a weight loss of 55kg that I always wanted but found hard to seek; and taste of good well being that brings me back for more and more. A special person told me ‘If it is IMPORTANT You will find a way – If NOT You will find an excuse’ (YOR Health) Bring on the next two kg’s to loose to reach my goal weight… You don’t go into something half heartily, you believe, you receive and you feed off to the rest of the world around you… YOR Health for me came around a time when a lot of new things started for me, you could call it luck, belief or something new but now I call it happiness!
