Since I was in the 3rd grade, I've always been the "bigger" kid weighing in at 72 lbs, under 4 ft. I've had high cholesterol at 8 years old and was eventually put on medication to decrease it. I wanted to change my life style and get off meds, but it's easier said than done. When you are a kid who can hardly cook or buy a healthier meal, it is challenging eating a better, healthier choice.
Coming from an Asian culture, the majority are stick thin males and females, which I never was at all. At my heaviest, I was in college Sophomore year weighing in near 160lbs at 5 ft 4. Even though I joined gyms and frequently went, I didn't see much results. When the Yorhealth products came out, I was skeptical because I tried it all: Slim Fast, Redline, Hydroxycut Hardcore, while still actively going to the gym. I saw no result, thus no hope. When I tried the products, after 3 weeks, I lost 16 lbs! I was soooo excited, which brought me down to 144lbs...I worked out and took MRP, Vitamins and Complete Burn. I was down to 128 lbs in 2010, Then, problems came into my life and I let myself go. I indulged and ate what I wanted. My excuse was "at least I went to the gym". Shortly after, I gained weight back to 143 lbs and it's been a struggle for me to lose the weight ever since I fell off track. Off the products: I went to the gym 4-6 times a week doing cycling, yoga, cross fit, running, high intensity workouts, but saw very little results.
I wanted a "new" me, and a new lifestyle so I joined the 8 week challenge. I started at 143 lbs 8 weeks ago, and now I am down to 136.5 lbs. I lost 2% body fat, and 1 inch off my waist. I go for an hour of bootcamp 2 times a week, and one day of the week, go for a light jog. (I have cut down my gym time) I didn't hit my goal of losing 13 lbs, but I am half way there. I have plenty of cheat meals (buffets, cakes, BBQ, chocolate etc). I can't blame anyone, but myself.
The products, supergreens and probiotics, help me with my poor digestion. I used to do (#2) twice a week and I was super constipated. Ever since I've been consistently taking them, I do (#2) at least once a day, sometimes twice a day. Complete Burn gives me the extra push I need for the gym after a long day of work. MRP is usually a snack to keep me full after lunch/before dinner.
Every morning, I take a Supergreens with Fiber, 2 vitamins, and Complete Burn. I eat my regular lunch, and snack 2 times a day (MRP, nuts, yogurt, chips, cookie etc. I take Complete Burn before the gym, and try to take an MRP before, or sometimes after the gym. My dinner is what I normally eat, but smaller portion.
I take an enzyme with every meal. Before bed, I take 2 repairs and 1 probiotics.
