"Fat girl! You're so ugly. How will anyone ever love you when you look like that?" Mean, hurtful things I once was accustomed to hearing. In the beginning of this journey I didn't know what to expect. All I was confidence about was that I no longer wanted to be "that girl". Eight weeks later it feels like a rebirth. Miracles don't happen over night but through this challenge I now believe that CAN happen - with hard work and dedication. There is a power in using good products and working out hard. The gym was once a place of fear and intimidation for me. Currently, I walk through the doors exploding with empowerment and dedication. It would be inaccurate to claim that all of the past memories have been erased and that all is well. What I can say is that my soul has begun to heal, my health improve, and a new comfort has taken over me. My body is no longer the enemy who holds me prisoner. I am a work in progress.
