Hello. I’m Berta De Loera Sánchez, 62 years old.
I joined the challenge to support my husband. In other challenges, I sometimes didn’t finish or only managed to lose weight down to 78 kg, only to gain it back. My goal was to never see 80 kg on the scale again.
This time we also saw a nutritionist, because as you age, it gets harder.
I walk 50 minutes, 6 days a week. I’ve been consistent and have learned to eat healthier. The nutritionist told me to get rid of clothes that fit loosely, and I’ve gotten rid of at least 4 pairs of pants and 6 tops. I used to wear size 14 or 16, and now I’ve bought size 10 and 12. I had clothes I liked but didn’t fit—and now I wear them again!
