Whew! Where do I begin?? The 8 Week Challenge was the perfect way for me to get over the weight loss hump. Starting at 325 lbs I was no stranger to exercising. I would run on treadmills, do my best to make healthy food choices, and try any weight loss system I could get my hands on! But nothing seemed to give me the consistent results I wanted. So back in April, after moving into a new apartment in Revere MA I was going through a rough time. Bills were piling up, my fiancée had left me, I felt lonely, school was becoming difficult to manage. I simply felt out of tune with the person I wanted to become. At that time I was doing the 60 Day Insanity Challenge. After many failed attempts at being consistent with the program I simply threw my hands up and shut down on trying to lose weight. But, like any moment of frustration, my despair ended. I picked myself back up and started at losing weight again. I thought the logic was simple. Burn more calories than what you take in. But oddly enough, that was not working for me. One Wednesday evening after my insanity workout I overheard a man talking something called an MRP and how it gave him amazing results with cutting fat. He had my attention. I couldn't help but eavesdrop. I just had to know more about this MRP. So I continued to listen and heard him using foreign terms like 8 Week Challenge and Berry Blast and Promoter. That was it, I couldn't help myself. I politely walked over and demanded he tell me too! He was pleased that I was so excited about learning what worked for him. This man, Esteban Ortiz who is now my very good friend set up a time to talk with me. He did a one on one Challenge party with me and gave me the "low down" on the 8-Week Challenge. I just knew I had to get started. At the moment my finances were screwed so he and I came up with a plan for he and I to regroup in the coming weeks when I could afford a set. But leading up to that moment he and I continued talking. I attended the Connect/Strength Finders seminars every weekend held in Cambridge MA, worked out with him and his team regularly and familiarized myself with products I witnessed them using day to day. I was completely in love with YOR Health and I wasn't on the products. The movement was contagious. Finally I purchased my first set. Entered the 8-Week Challenge and even became a Promoter later down the road. My favorite products became Complete Burn and the MRP. My results were awesome! Beyond the obvious signs of weight loss I felt stronger, my bowel movements were regulated, and my skin was clearing up. I use my products faithfully and workout regularly. I am learning to share happiness with others through my results. Now everywhere I go, I wear my blue bracelet that reads "commit to get fit" and I can always tell when it inspires others because the message is clear-though I am not in my best shape, I commit to keep working to get to that place. It has so much hope stored in that tiny phrase. I know that even when I officially reach my weight loss goal and get those killer abs I will continue to enter cycle Challenges and promote the products because health is a lifestyle and so much more than a means to an end. I hope that my results can inspire you all. And no matter who wins, know that we all are winner in our own right. Cheers!
