Before I decided to join YOR Health, I went from 135lbs /61.36 kilos in 2016 to my heaviest weight of 149lbs/67.7 kilos. I gave so much of my time doing community work and events that I didn't save any time to support my health. My weight gain finally caught up to me when I had my cultural wedding in September 2018. I didn't feel great about the way I looked in my dresses and felt depressed about how I had to juggle sacrificing my health for community work and vice versa. I was in denial of my unhealthy habits that contributed to my weight gain. I wasn't comfortable with my physical appearance and didn't want to waste any more money on new clothes. I hated seeing myself in recent pictures because I just didn't like my body.

I was skipping meals and then binge eating when I had the time to eat. That habit leads me to make unhealthy food choices. When I joined YOR Health, it was challenging to balance my lifestyle of food and supplements intake throughout the day. Eventually, I quickly learned that the shakes (Vanilla YOR Shake, YOR SuperGreens, and YOR Fiber Plus) have been the best product that helped support me to not skip meals. That took away my binge eating habit.

I started working out at the gym for the first 3 weeks and noticed some muscle gain but switched back to a more realistic lifestyle which was light walking exercise. It was very easy and flexible to maintain.
