After 3 or 4 months of following a pitiful diet and a lifestyle closer to a broke rock star, I mean, bad food and bad drinks every day, along with some great vacations full of excess in American food and drinks…and at least 3 years without exercising not even for 10 minutes, I got a picture of myself in which my mom was making fun of my weight. Yes, my mom!!! Ok, I think I had hit rock bottom.

And yes, it was then that I realized I had reached the acceptable limit before not fitting into any of my shirts again. It was then that a friend of mine, a YOR Health promoter, told me about her personal evolution and showed me some pictures, and it was like finding a “magical” solution to my problem.

However, when she further explained this, I understood it wasn’t something magical and that I needed to change some habits, to have a balanced diet and, as far as possible, to exercise.

Honestly, the first week was harder than expected. Having to have a shake for breakfast and dinner every day made me believe I was going to quit after 8 days. However, I found the way to be more creative with the shakes and add some groove to them with some fruit, granola, spinach, etc. That way I survived the first week, and in the second week I started an exercise routine that helped me have a better time.

I changed almost every bad habit, and because I like cooking, I tried to fix myself some good dishes. For sure, my meals were balanced and delicious because I really enjoy eating.

My digestion has changed for the better. I don’t limit myself when I go out for a beer or for dinner with someone, I just learned there are moments and amounts for everything.

After 8 weeks, 6 kg / 13 lbs less of fat and 3 kg / 6.6 lbs more of muscle, I’m very thankful with my friend for teaching me that with YOR Health we can have a balance for everything. Besides, it also kept me from changing my wardrobe from S to M. I hope to join the Sculpt Challenge in a few months.

I started at 75.29 kg / 166 lbs and now I’m at 69.85 kg / 154 lbs.
