This is my 3rd Cycle for the 8-Week Challenge. I am 34 years old and my before weight was 107 lbs and my final weight now is 106 lbs; I did drop a lot of body fat percentage in order to get deep 6-pack Abs, gained a lot of lean and defined muscles in my biceps and triceps plus my legs definitely got leaner regardless of my 6 days road trip to the Yor Health Annual Conference via train and it was my 1st time going to California—my goal for this cycle was to maintain my health plus get even better results than I had gotten from my previous cycle. I have been able to maintain my endurance level along with continuingly using the entire YOR Health product line, consistently working out and having clean-diet which consisted of vegetables, protein and good carbohydrate.
My wake up call to make my health as my number one priority was right after I had a direct contact and accident with an SUV truck while I was crossing the road in September 2010. I could have died or gotten paralyzed but thank god that I was very fortunate to have survived this accident. However as a result of this accident, I started feeling pain spike in my left trapezius/socket area, plus I was working 10 hours desk job on the computer and phone so this made my health, circulation and pain even worse. This started to affect my neck, shoulder, eyes and my legs from not moving around much; I did not have time to eat snacks, had late lunch which was for only 30 minutes and I use to gulp down my lunch super fast due to hunger. Plus, my former boss was verbally abusive for almost a year, which drained me out mentally as well. I realized that all of this was affecting my health tremendously and I needed to make changes.
Throughout this cycle, it was definitely challenging for me to be able to stay on top of my product regimen due to my 6 days road trip from NY to California via train: it took 3 days to get there and 3 days to get back home; still I managed to stay on top of my product regimen because I carried Yor Daily Packs on me – Took it in the morning, with every meals and at bedtime just like it says on the pack. Everything that they sold on the train such as cereal, candies, juice, soda contained atleast 22 gm sugar and I refrained myself from having it. Plus they sold coffee, chips, pizza, burger and cup of noodles –In order to avoid the train food, I bought some food in NY before boarding, bought some more food at Chicago Station and then again bought some food at LA Union Station. However, the ride from Chicago to LA was so long that I did run out of food and ended up having cup of noodles, pizza and chips.
While on this trip, I had some time to do stretch on Kansas Station platform due to the layover time. I had missed 6 days of my actual workout routine, but once I was in California, I caught up on my running and that felt so good. Once I was back home, then I was able to get back on my clean diet routine and working out 4 times per week – I was still highly motivated as usual when it came to going to the gym but most importantly I was committed. At the gym, I worked out my arms, legs, and abs. I can still swim 1650 meters non-stop Breast-Stroke then Front-Stroke (alternating each way) and run 4 miles in 36 minutes. I was very determined to prove to myself that even if I am away from home for 2 weeks and on the train for 6 days that I can still do this and I kept going regardless of my travel conditions on the train: no gym, no good food, no shower, and no bed – Still I had no excuses! I was still excited to see better result this time!
Thus, this challenge has had positive impact on my life because through the 8-week challenge, I was able to continue a habit of clean eating, consistently kept working out, was daily on top of my Yor Product Regimen and today I have achieved more lean and defined muscles in my biceps and triceps, got more defined and deeper 6-pack abs, and maintained my endurance level than the last time. Thank you YOR Health for continuing to make a major health difference in my life! Also, thanks to everyone who supported me along the way during the journey of my challenge! Today, I have become product of the product and leading by example for my family and friends and I would like to share to them that “If I did it, then so can you!”
