What a difference 8 short weeks can make when you combine motivation to make a change with a great support group and the right tools! When I started my 8 week challenge, I was in the worst shape of my life. I weighed 206 pounds and my gut hung over my size 38 pants. I knew I needed to make a change to my lifestyle but didn’t have the energy and support group to really stick with it. My wife and I were introduced to the YOR Health products when she was in the hospital for two weeks due to muscle fatigue that was so extreme that she could not sit up in bed on her own much less get up and walk without total support from someone else. When we finally got her out of the hospital we made the decision that we needed to make a change in our lifestyle. We had been doing nothing to take care of our health and that was showing in every area of our lives. Even before she went into the hospital, we were both so exhausted by the time we would arrive home from work that we did not want to do anything but grab so fast food and sit on the couch to watch some television shows. We wanted to get out and be more active as we both really enjoy outdoor activities. We just never had the energy to get out there and do anything. So we started eating healthier and going to the gym at least 5 days a week. It was hard. We made some progress but were not seeing a lot of changes to our bodies. I had really only lost ONE pound over the 6 weeks of eating healthier and going to the gym. I was very disappointed to say the least. After about 6 weeks of not really seeing much progress, my wife decided to enter the 8 Week Challenge and try the YOR Health products. I was very reluctant to participate in the challenge. I really wasn’t that interested in taking the products but I knew I wanted to see changes in my level of fitness. But my wife was really excited and we decided that if she was going to do this then we would do it together so that she had some additional support. We both bought the Best Body Kit and started taking the products as directed. I would start my day with a MRP shake mixed with the Fiber Plus and Super Greens for my one hour commute to work. Once I got to the office I would have a small healthy breakfast and take a Complete Burn. I took the Meal 1 portion (YOR Digest and Essential Vitamins) of the Daily Pack with my lunch. The Berry Blast would give me the energy I needed mid-afternoon to make it through the rest of my day. I would take the Meal 2 portion (YOR Digest and Essential Vitamins) of the Daily Pack with my small dinner before an early evening workout. At bedtime I would take the Rising/Bedtime portion (YOR Repair and YOR Probiotics) of the Daily Pack. The impact was almost immediate. I noticed a difference in my first post-workday workout. I actually had the energy to look forward to going to the gym. I made no changes to my eating habits since we starting eating healthier but within the first three days I had already lost 5 pounds! Actually being able to see a visible change in my physique over the last 8 weeks has been great! I now weigh in at 193 pounds and fit into size 36 pants without my stomach hanging over my belt. I can feel the difference that this lifestyle change has brought because I am no longer too exhausted to do the things that I want. I am also much more focused while I am at work so I get more accomplished which makes me feel even better. I am so glad that I made the decision to join my wife in the 8 Week Challenge.
