My sister introduced me to YOR health 12 months ago. I had recently opened a new business that was growing in leaps and bounds, so much so that I was struggling to keep up with the demands. I was working 13+ hour days, and running on next to no sleep and was honestly struggling. I was not only struggling through work, but struggling through life in general. I was extremely over weight, tired, depressed and just unhappy in myself and my life. When my sister convinced me to try the YOR health products I was extremely skeptical. I agreed to try them just so she would stop pestering me about it, but I was determined to prove that they didn't work. How wrong could I be. I started using YOR Health Super Greens and Berry Blast and have never looked back. The effects I felt from using these products was practically instant. I couldn't believe how much energy I had even after just taking them once. The more I took the products, the better I felt and the more motivated I got to do something about my weight. I finally felt like I had the energy to do something about the ongoing battle, it no longer felt impossible. I went from having 2-3 hours of sleep a night to sleeping straight through for 8 hours. I finally knew in my mind that I had the tools I needed for success. I knew then and there that this was a battle that I was going to win.
I started working with a personal trainer and joined a gym. I won't pretend it was easy at the start because it wasn't. I was extremely unfit, to the point that I couldn't even run the length of a cricket pitch. My heart rate was the worst of any client my personal trainer had seen in the past four years. The amazing thing about the YOR products was the more I took them, the better I felt, and the more exercise I was able to do and the more I felt like eating healthy.
I wish I had done this 8 week challenge at the start of my journey, however unfortunately I did not have the confidence at the time to even take the photos. And so I decided to complete this challenge towards the end of my journey.
Throughout the 8 week challenge I continued to take the YOR Supergreens and Berry Blast every morning, however I also added a second serving in the afternoon. I stuck to an extremely strict exercise schedule which included Personal Training twice a week, Gym session 3-4 times a week and Pole Fitness once a week. Throughout my entire journey I have been way too focused on the scales and what number they show me. My trainer is continuously telling me I need to ignore that and focus on measurements because scales don't show everything. When I finished the 8 week challenge and weighed myself I was initially extremely disappointed. I hadn't got to the goal weight. I couldn't believe it, after all my hard work. I decided then and there not to bother taking after photos or writing the testimonial. I was embarrassed because I felt like I had failed. My training buddy convinced me to take the after photos just for curiosity's sake and I was blown away. I actually laughed when I looked at them next to each other as I honestly couldn't believe there could be so much change in a body to look at, and yet only about 2kgs change on the scales.
Do I wish I had have reached my goal weight for this challenge? Yes of course. But am I still proud of myself regardless? Most definitely. This challenge has taught me that the scales are not the be all and end all. What is important is how amazing I feel. And thanks to YOR Health products, I feel amazing. I know I will get to my goal weight eventually, but at the moment, I am just enjoying the journey and feeling fantastic.
Although I only lost 2kgs during this challenge, I have lost a total of 27kgs since I started taking YOR Health products, I have got my heart rate down into the healthy range, and I am now living my life. Everyone who has taken this challenge, as well as myself are living proof that these products work.
