I never had to worry about my weight when I was younger. I was always the skinny kid and I guess I just assumed it would always be that way. When I got older I joined the military, I spent 11 years in the Army and served overseas twice. When I got out in 2009, I got a blue collar job and now I drive a service truck all day. I ate a lot of fast food over the past few years and I would drink the large size energy drinks to keep me going all day. My family was growing too. Now, with two kids, I didn't think i had the time to get to the gym or the time to make healthier choices for myself or my kids. Slowly, I began to gain weight, until one day, i realized, I was almost 30 pounds heavier than when I left the military. Then, YOR health came out with the convenience set and the eight week challenge! I was so excited. I thought, this is my opportunity to get back in shape, to take a few of these pounds off and show my family that we can be healthier. When I started the challenge the BMI tracker said I was obese at 217 pounds and now I'm in the normal range at 182 pounds. I was able to do it in only 8 weeks!
I went into this challenge with the idea of losing some weight, I accomplished that, but I also learned so much more about myself and about nutrition. When it comes to food and nutrition, my entire life has changed for the better. I have learned what it takes to be healthy, and its not impossible for anyone to do. Simple changes to my diet and my families diet has been the key to my success and my family is also benefiting. As a family we are simply making better choices. I have noticed a big change in my energy and confidence, I'm no longer tired when I get off work, I play with the kids for hours and we even work out together! I'm smiling more too, and that's attracting the right people and energy into my life. I'm so thankful for what I've been able to accomplish with YOR Health products.
