Finding myself closer to 50 years old than to 40 years old was not going to make shedding weight a very easy task. It seemed like I had tried several different diets, exercises and fads usually without much success. I told myself every Monday "this is going to be the week to get started" and by every Friday it seemed that my good intentions were already out the window.
I thought I was eating fairly healthy, but actually it was the "little things" that slipped past the mouth or didn't get written in my food diary that added up in the end.
I have always been outgoing and energetic and enjoyed working out in the gym and outdoors. Of course, every January my New Years Resolution was "to lose weight and get fit." This recent January I spotted a small poster from a personal trainer at my gym showing average ladies, like myself, with before and after photos for a 8-week challenge.
I contacted the P.T. but was very sceptical about "another sales spiel." After meeting Jason and hearing about YorHealth, I went home to contemplate the cost, but was still very, very sceptical and wary of another sort of "Herbalife type of diet."
In the end I decided, what have I got to lose (beside weight and money) - I'll spend the extra money to try this. However, I was a bit shocked with the exchange rate and shipping costs when my first order did arrive. It made me angry enough to think "I've outlaid all this money, now time to go hard."
I cleaned up my eating habits and made an effort for fresh veggies and lean meats. I love my YOR MPR shakes, both chocolate and vanilla, so much - they are like a treat! Most powder protein shakes are chalky and lumpy and hard to choke down, but these were so delicious that I found myself licking the edges of my shaker cup to get every last drop!
When I wanted a boost or afternoon sweet fix, I'd add a satchet of YOR Berry Blast to my water bottle and savour the taste!
I had some soreness and aching on the top of my feet and after a few days of taking YOR Repair Ultra all pain was gone and stayed gone!

The biggest motivator was around Week 4 when everyday someone; a work colleague, my boss, my neighbours, my friends, family and husband would comment in a positive way about how my results were looking. Comments like "the shrinking woman," "your butt looks half its size," your legs are looking really fit and toned," "you can really tell in your mid-section tummy and waist," all of these were motivational and exciting. Clothes that were too tight or didn't fit before, I can now wear! I am going to throw out all the larger size clothes clothes I wore before, as I never want to see them again!
Besides the results that I have seen on the scales, my body measurements will be the real test as I have increased my muscle tone and strength so much. I ended with a total loss of 28cm across my body with 12cm being lost from my waist. I continually surprise my trainer with my hard efforts (I am about 20 years older than him) and my "never give up" training results. He keeps setting me challenges and as I feel that I am about to collapse from trying so hard, he tells me that he never expected me to finish the challenge, much less complete it and keep trying hard. I am feeling so strong and fit and it makes me proud to meet and exceed his expectations!!
I am going to continue to use the YorHealth products to keep the weight loss and fantastic feeling going to reach my absolute goal. If I feel this amazing and I've only lost half of my goal weight - imagine when I lose the other half - LOOK OUT!
