I am 35 year’s old and completed Cycle 5 for the 8-Week Challenge, continuing my journey of living a healthy lifestyle and sharing happiness with others. Regardless of my age, not only I was able to achieve the 6-pack abs after the age of 30, but continuing to maintain them is definitely challenging. Past couple of months, it was tough to stay on track with my health goal due to the challenges but then I eventually got back on track. My before weight was 106 lbs (48.1 kg) and my final weight now is 107 lbs (48.5 kg) – It's difficult for me to increase my weight due to high metabolism, so I joined the 8-week challenge to get sculpted. Completing five cycles consecutively has definitely changed my body composition and resulted in looking more sculpted –gained bigger defined lean muscles in my biceps, triceps & deltoids plus my legs definitely got leaner. Now when I flex my arms or abs, I woo my friends and their face lightens up! I have been able to increase my endurance level by using the entire YOR Health product line, consistently working out and having clean-diet such as vegetables, protein and good carbohydrate.
My wake up call to make my health as my number one priority was right after I had a direct contact and accident with an SUV truck while I was crossing the road in September 2010. I could have died or gotten paralyzed but thank god that I was very fortunate to have survived this accident. However as a result of this accident, I started feeling pain spike in my left trapezius/socket area, plus I was working 10 hours desk job on the computer and phone simultaneously so this made my health, circulation and pain even worse. This started to affect my neck, shoulder, eyes and my legs from not moving around much for 5 days straight; I did not have time to eat snacks or eat the junk food that the company had stored there, had late lunch which was for only 30 minutes and I use to gulp down my lunch super fast due to hunger. Plus, my former boss micromanaged and was verbally abusive for almost a year, which drained me out mentally as well. I realized that all of this was affecting my health tremendously and I needed to make changes.
Throughout Cycle 5, I continued to take full line Yor Health Products daily: I love drinking MRP as my post-workout; Yor Muscle Energy as pre/during weight workout; 3 Vitamins in the morning and 3 in the evening; Digest Ultra with my meals; 2 Ultra Repair in the morning and 2 at night; 1 Probiotic & Supergreens at night; Berry Blast as when needed occasionally. I share my products with my Mom and she uses some of these products to help her to stay healthy since she is diabetic Stage 2. Also, recently i saw my Dad taking Repair which surprised me. I love the new iPhone APP: YOR BEST BODY which is a simple tool that helps me to stay on top of the above mentioned regimen.
While on this challenge during the snow season, I still continued to workout atleast 3 times a week alongside of working on the opportunity I was given in this business to do what I love doing. I am still self-motivated as usual when it comes to going to the gym since it makes me feel healthier and refreshing. I work on my arms, legs and abs; run 4 miles in 36 minutes or sometimes run 5 miles as I am very determined to prove to myself that even if I can do it regardless of my age, cold weather and not having a car– still I had no excuses! I was still excited to see better result this time!
Thus, this challenge has had positive impact on my life because through the 8-week challenge, I was able to continue a habit of clean eating, consistently kept working out, was daily on top of my Yor Product Regimen resulted in looking more sculpted and I feel like a Champion! Thank you YOR Health for making a major impact in my health in 2011, for continuing to make my health better and for giving me the opportunity to do what I love doing! Also, thanks to my old parents for supporting me with my living situation; and thanks to everyone who supported me along the way during the journey of my challenge! Today, I have become product of the product and leading by example for my family and friends and I would like to share to them that “If I did it, then so can you!”
