This is my third 8-week challenge and the only one I have committed 100% of myself too. I'm so excited about my life style changes and the relationships that I have formed over these past weeks. I have not only transformed my diet and exercise but I have been doing a lot of soul searching as well. It's been a bit of an emotional roller-coaster but I couldn't be more happy about the results in all areas!
The products:
During the 8-week challenge I used the super greens, the daily packs (which I bummed they no longer offer), the MRP with an occasional berry blast. This is the first time that I have committed myself to using all those products on a daily basis. The biggest changes I had made were replacing my coffee in the morning with super greens and replacing lunch with an MRP.
The workout:
I am a ballroom dancer and it is a great workout but since I have been doing it for 5+ years now it is rarely a challenge on my body now. So I decided to join a gym for the first time in my life back in Feb 2014 and commit to every Tuesday taking a Boby Pump class that includes weight lifting. This is where I saw the most changes. I then continued to do various workouts throughout the week including LaBlast dance fitness, pole dancing, running/jogging, and smaller weight lifting sessions and of course my favorite activity: ballroom dancing.
The Achievements:
I committed more than I have ever thought I would to everything I have set for this 8 week challenge. I had a dance performance scheduled and my dance partner and I "killed it"! I finally dance my lift successfully because of my new strength. I ran a 5k in 31 min (I'm not a long distance runner...and yes, I consider that the be long distance....lol) and I had a pretty challenging schedule with a ballroom competition dancing a total of 66 times on the dance floor and my amateur partner and I won 2nd and 3rd place in an American Smooth multi-dance competition. Huge Success!!!
I'm so happy with everything that I have accomplished in these past 8 weeks. I have pushed myself to a new level in health, fitness and confidence that I will continue to build throughout this year. I can not wait to see what is yet to be achieved! I owe a lot of my success to YOR Health and the team that I have surrounded myself with. I couldn't have done it without them. Such an inspiration and so darn motivating! :)
