ok my first challenge is completed! I started the challenge at 87.6kg, which is not the heaviest I have been but I was definatly not happy with my weight. It was definitely a challenge, however the first few weeks I felt unstoppable, every day I was taking my super greens and and night I had my probiotic, this gave me the stamina to go to bootcamp three times a week and go for at least one long bike ride on the weekends. I also changed my diet to a higher protein and low carb. The weight started to come off and I was feeling great. About 4kg down and people started noticing that I had lost weight, especially in my face the 'puffiness' seemed to be going and it felt really good.... then I got a pain in my abdomen and before I knew it I was having surgery to get my appendix out. As you can imagine this put a holter on the exercise. Apart form the compulsory 'feeling sorry for myself ice cream' I stuck to my eating plan and kept taking the products. Surprisingly the weight kept coming off :) It was hard for me to stop bootcamp and riding as I was so motivated and was really enjoying it... I waited it out well I managed to wait 3.5 weeks and the doc said 4 so thats not too bad right heheh. I just got back into it five days ago and am so excited to be back into it.
I ended up loosing 6.5 kgs all up and I am super proud. I do find my self wondering how much I could have lost if I did not have surgery but thats what my next challenge will be about. This is defiantly a life style change for me, I put on 10kg when I went to uni and now I am in my second year out its time to drop back to my pre uni weight and start being happy with my body again. I also am engaged so wanting to look my best when I get married is a great motivator.
Before the challenge I would loose 2 or 3 kgs then go back to old habits and put it straight back on, I would get so frustrated. I never seemed to be able to crack past 85kg. Taking the products has allowed me to stick to it and push past that and keep loosing the weight :) I absolutely love the products and really notice a change in my mood if I skip a day. I now hope that my friends will be inspired and join me on the next challenge :) Cant wait!!!
