My name is Pheng Thao and I love YOR Health and the 8 Week Challenge has saved my life. Before joining the 8 Week Challenge, I was going through the toughest time of my life. In May of 2012 my wife, Jennifer Her, was diagnosed with Lymphoma Cancer. We have been together since the age of 16 and this news made our hearts drop. We were devastated and looking for answers to why this had happen. All we could think about was our children. We have four beautiful kids: Terrance 10 years old, Noah 8 years old, Tyler 6 years old, and Serenity who is 4 years old. The kids being so young, all we told them was that mommy was sick and tired.

We started chemotherapy immediately after the diagnosis and our battle with Lymphoma Cancer began. For months we were in hospitals doing test after test. We went through numerous treatments and experimental drugs, nothing worked. Jennifer became more and more weak and I knew what was to come. On the morning of June 16th of 2013, after one year of fighting the cancer, my best friend and the love of my life, Jennifer Her at the age of 27, had passed. This was the worst day of my life. I felt lost and so alone, but I knew that I needed to be strong for our kids. I miss my wife very much and not a day has goes by that I don't think of her.

When my cousin approached me about doing the 8 Week Challenge, I had my doubts and didn't know if I wanted to focus my time on it. But after a late night talk with him, I decided that taking care of my health is the best decision I could make. I want to be the best father I can be and after a year of hospital food and no exercise, I knew I had to get back into shape. I ordered the Best Body Set and decided I would dedicate my journey to better health to Jennifer.


I started out at 162lbs and now I am at 165lbs. The workout sessions and incredible products has amazed me with how much strength I've gained and maintained. I never get sore and if I do, all it takes is a few Repair Ultras. I went to the gym about 4 nights a week after I put my kids to bed. I would take the Muscle Energy before my workouts and that would give me so much energy to hit my workouts with more intensity. After my workout, I would take another serving of my MRP to give me the protein I needed. For breakfast I would take my MRP with SuperGreens while drinking down my CompleteBurn. This would give me so much energy for my mornings and kept my body full with the right nutrition and protein. The products are amazing and I love the way my body feels now. I used to feel sick and tired all the time, but now I feel stronger than ever. I started out barely able to bench 95lbs and last week I benched 175lbs for the first time.

The 8 Week Challenge has given me my strength back and a healthy outlet for me to deal with the loss of my wife. I am so much stronger and gaining more muscle. I feel great and I am very happy with my results, but I know I am not done yet. Now I'm excited and look forward to my second cycle for another 8 weeks of training and good nutrition so I can get ripped and lean. These past 8 weeks has been the first stepping stone to living a healthy lifestyle for me and my kids. My ultimate goal is to be the best father I can be for my kids. They deserve the absolute best and I know I cant accomplish that unless I take care of myself and my body. Thank you YOR Health and I look forward to my second cycle!
