Hey ladies & Gents! My name is Phanouvong but they call me Elvis!, I'm 18 living in Geelong, Australia. 8 weeks ago i started the 8 week challenge and WOW all i can say is, is that it has been an incredible first 8 week challenge!. Before i started the challenge i had been lazy and slacking off training for the last 3 or 4 months due to going overseas and just partying in general, i was at the point where i was starting to put on weight and losing muscle and i really wasn't happy with my self image. All i knew was something had to change and it so happens that this incredible YOR Health opportunity presented itself at the right time!
My main goal was to put on 5kgs of solid muscle but maintain a lean & ripped body at the same time. My before weight was 70Kgs on the dot and goal weight was 75Kgs and my final weight was 74.9kgs. I just fell short of my goal by 100 grams! but i am very stoked with my results!!
I trained 5 days a week on a bodybuilding program for 1-1.5 hours each day. For the first half of my challenge i tried to put on as much muscle as i could by doing high intensity weight training with a low rep range and eating 5 meals a day. The second half the challenge was the hardest part i had to cut calories and continue at high intensity but do more reps to get as lean & ripped as possible! as you can imagine cutting calories made me lose a lot of energy lucky i had my berry blast to help me ;) I kept a fairly lenient diet i ate fairly healthy, watching what i ate for most of the week then i would have a cheat meal once on the weekend to keep my cravings at bay.
As for supplementation i took the MRP, supergreens, berry blast, fiber digest, essential vitamins, digest ultra, ultra repairs and probiotic ultras every single day throughout the whole challenge. I couldn't workout without these products, they just gave me the energy i needed to finish my workouts, made me feel great everyday, cleansed my system out of all the junk that was in it and kept my immune system healthy, repair my body a lot quicker so i could train at my maximum potential the next day and also keep my calorie intake low during the second half of my challenge to help me lose fat and get to my final weight. I couldn't of did it without these amazing products! :P
The transformation that i have achieved in the last 8 weeks have been absolutely amazing but in saying that it hasn't been easy! when your 18 a lot of your friends are going out,partying and drinking and that can really influence you to do the same but i have manage to tell my self to set a goal, have that work ethic, commitment, mindset and stick with it the whole 8 weeks. That just really tells me something, that something is that if i really put my mind to anything, i can really achieve whatever i desire in life.
Now that i have completed the challenge i look my best, wake up feeling great everyday, gained my motivation back and trained harder everyday but i'm not stopping there i am going to continue to strive for higher goals. The challenge has had a major impact on my life and I am grateful and humbled for this experience and for YOR Health giving me a opportunity like this and showing that there's a way to achieve whatever i desire in life. I will be definitely participating in another 8 week challenge again!
