I would like to start off by addressing my name. My name is Ryan Parker and here
is my story. My entire life I have played sports, from the age of 4 and up I’ve always
been apart of some team or challenge. I’ve played soccer, baseball, basketball,
football, track, wrestling, and cross-country. I’ve even competed on the college
level in Division 11 wrestling at American International College, and Division 1 AA
Football at Marist College as a walk on at almost 20 years old.
One night at a bar had changed my life for what I thought was going to be forever.
I was at the bar buying the captain of my football team a drink, and I saw a good
friend of mine being escorted away from the bar by a bouncer. Knowing my friend
very well, he was a bit over weight and had severe asthma. The bouncer dragging
him down the stairs by his neck raised my much concern so I left the bar to see if
everything was okay. I walked outside of the night bar to see what had happened
and couldn’t remember a thing sense for over a year.
A fight broke out outside, and I was hit in the back of my head my friends said. I
fell face first into a curb slightly fracturing my skill, and knocked unconscious. My
good friend had a torn ACL at the time, tried to pick me back up, dropped me and l
smashed my face into the ground yet again. I was rushed to the emergency room
and had MRI scans as well as CT scans. I was severely out of it, and when I woke up
another day I had the slightest clue what had happened and couldn’t open my right
eye for a few weeks. I had to drop out of college on a medical leave. The doctors had
thought it was just due to the concussion during midterms that I wouldn’t be able to
catch up the semester.
After a few weeks had gone by my symptoms did not diminish. It was getting
increasingly clear there was a problem. I had attended top doctors very frequently.
I was seeing ear nose throat experts for my eyes and hearing impairment. I was
put on glasses with prisms for a while. I had to also see a neurologist, psychiatrist,
and psychologist weekly, as well as have a neuro-psych exam done that gave me an
extreme evaluation of what has happened to my life.
After seeing these doctors so frequently they had come to the conclusion I was
suffering now from TBI (Traumatic Brain Injury) PCS (Post Concussive Syndrome)
ADHD (Attention Deficit Hyper Activity Disorder) as well as, PTSD (Post Traumatic
Stress Disorder) and Insomnia. My what was thought to be a few week problems,
turned to be over a year off of school, continuing my medical leave to a second
semester due to the fact I still could not read and comprehend much. I was put on
multiple prescription medications to take away my fears and anxiety, help me sleep,
curb the pain of my never-ending migraine, and restore my focus.
I was always angry at the world; I went from being a college athlete to not being
able to do pushups and losing 30 pounds of muscle, which took my entire life
to gain. I was always very gifted academically and athletically. God had truly
blessed me, but with that blessing I thought I was cursed. I didn't understand
why something like this would happen to me. I’ve always was a caring and helpful
person. I’ve come to realize God challenges his toughest soldiers and I would not be
beaten or settle to a life like this.
A year later I was advised to start working out again because it could potentially
help my conditions. I stayed on my medications and began to workout religiously.
After getting some good results I started to eat clean and met my mentor Dave
Fitzpatrick a personal trainer from my town. He took me under his wing because
he shares a similar experience. He was in Acoma for a month, broke 26 bones, and
was paralyzed for a year. Now he is a champion bodybuilder and helped me get
through such a bad time. Times got better, and I returned to school to take 1 class
and passed with an all right grade. Dave then convinced me to start competing in
men’s physique competitions to give me a reason to push harder. I then became
obsessed with health and fitness, got a job at GNC, and switched my major from pre-
law to Dietetics.
Sometime during march, Yorhealth promoter Nate Giueletti got me to buy some
of the products from him retail value so I was never able to officially sign up for
the best body championship online sense I didn’t have an online account. I trained
with these products for a few weeks, stepped on stage and came in second place. I
continued the challenge and became an independent representative shortly after the
show and was no longer working at GNC.
After my second place finish I decided to really put the products to the test. I
stopped dieting from a competition diet and went back to eating whatever and
whenever I want. I really wanted to be able to prove the products were wrong and I
simply couldn’t. I even cut back my training days from 4-5 days a week to 2-3 for 3
weeks an in that time I lost an additional 10 pounds!
In the weeks following my show I had a psychiatrist appointment. My blood
pressure had gone down, and I told the doctor how I’ve never felt better in my entire
life. I’ve even come off of all of my meds except one and he is now considering
promoting this in his office because of my story.
Being a health science major I know the importance of nutrition and know quite
a bit about sports nutrition for my age and year in college in my program. I’ve
supplemented with Yor Essential Vitamins, Yor Repair Ultra, Yor Berry Blast, Yor
Muscle Energy, Yor Super Greens, Yor Fiber, and Yor MRP almost daily.
Sense then as I told my doctor I’ve truly never felt healthier and stronger in my
entire life. I wake up easier, I sleep better, I have more energy in the day and kill
every workout again. I truly feel what my “prime” is all about. I went from 205
pounds on stage to about 195 pounds now and am quicker and stronger than before.
A lot of people don’t truly know what its like to be at the bottom, and don’t respect
the highs in life when you are there. I’ve learned to take nothing for granted and
hard work and knowledge can get you anywhere you want in life.
Yorhealth has changed my life and I’m more grateful than ever. I’m in the best off-
season, maintainable shape I’ve ever been. I’ve helped many of my clients to take
these products and I see the transformations it’s giving them and I’m nothing but
proud and excited for them. Each and every one of us has the right to a healthy
happy life. No company has ever made me feel this supported, this loved, and this
appreciated before. No Job has ever given me the chance to really give back to
others, like others have by getting me back on my feet.
This company has given me the opportunity to touch many lives and its only going
to grow and help more. I’ve never imagined being able to work from home, make
money, and do what I love each and every day. I’ve changed in more ways than one
because of Yorhealth. The statement I heard once saying, “Yorhealth is your greatest
wealth” stuck with me. Yorhealth has allowed me to invest into myself, so I can
invest into others and quite simply; there isn’t another way I see fit for myself to be
able to do so. From the bottom of my heart Yorhealth is helping me achieve every
goal I’ve ever had for myself and I will never settle. Thank you team, you are all the
best!
